Roland SP-404 MKII // Sampling Through USB C

Im trying it rn but when i try to hear my sample using skip back i hear a different sound

please make a video from scratch one to finish !! A SONG !! THAT WHERE DOPE !!! AND HOW I CAN RECORD A PATTER DIRECTLY !!!! I ONLY KNEW THE AKAIS LIVE ONE AND 1 AND 2000 !!! THANX FOR DOING IT 1!

It hasn't arrived yet but I am preparing so I can immediately start! :-)
May I ask you one thing since you seem to be very good with it?
If I sample-record a drum loop, say 100 bpm. Is it being Warped? meaning if I play the project at lower or higher bpm does it Lock the sample proportionaly or do problems occur ? I mean like in a Digitakt example. The Digitakt is pretty good at quantizing and keeping the Loop tight when switching Tempi.
Asking cause I suppose that in this video here the drums are programmed in the Sp 404 and not sampled unless I am wrong?

I record nothig from my mpc by trs out and in to rolland and nothing from usb i dont know how setup the rolland 404mk2 i waste 2days and nothing

Also I made many albums years ago on the sp808 which I've essentially been trying to replace since I stopped using it, I'm hoping the new 404 along with Koala can be a decent version. Did you ever use sp808?

hey, I plugged USBC into 404 and lightning end into ipad but the sound is still coming from ipad and nothing coming into 404 , am i missing an extra step ??

why the fuck doesn’t usb-c to lightning work on the mk2 that’s just weird because you can’t sample from your phone

finally broke down and brought one.... waiting on the amazon truck now lol

What am I doing wrong. I press ext source and play the sample on my iPad but when I stop it and press mark it says no skipback triggered data . Is there a setting I need to put it on? I’m missing something. I hope you or someone answers. Ty.

Straight game changer! I knew I could do this but just got my 404 a few days ago. Hell! I don’t even need to pay for splice anymore cuz I can screen record the sample and send it to the koala sampler or just play the screen record straight into the 404. Muchos gracias!!!

Why did my sp only work once with usb line in recording from my galaxy s10
