this 90 days mess is created by companies only .and they are only suffering... government should intervene and make a law to notice period can not be more than 30 days ...

I've already left the company, should I say that I've resigned or still working?
It's been 10 days?
I've like to join after 20-25 days (rest period)

It can be done in blr not in mumbai kolkata if you resign then search for job and thus reducing your notifice period. In worst case scenario if you do not get an intended new job, withdraw your resignation . Better do it after your variable compensation is doled out.

Just look at the number of applicants for each of the jobs posted in various portals. Please don't assume that market is good now. There are a lot of people who are still jobless. Many companies are simply posting just to fake that they are still growing.

Currently working as Java devloper at LTIM since 2021. I got an offer from TCS with 35% hike to my current CTC.

90 days notice period has created a deadlock in recruitment process. When companies dont think critically, they ended up creating such deadlocks...

Reality is totally different , don't resign without offer in these harsh conditions, if they want immediate joiners then ask you yourself have 90 days but want immediate joiners

Govt. ? They know only to loot by the name of fees, tax, cess, surcharge, fine etc. they rarely bless us a benefit. Only loot rest of the time.

Company expects immediate joiners but when they leave 90days. Then how another immediate joiner will be there for the company.

90 day there policy in the companies that you cannot reduce the notice period. Reality is very different. Don't resign without offer in hand.

I recently had an interview with L&T Technology and when hiring manager asked me what's my notice period.

I replied the same "Officially it's 90 days however i can manage to bring it to early release with just 30 days NP"

Hiring manager response: come to the point straight what is your official notice period?

Me: 90 days

Hiring manager: Fine 😏

Interview feedback: Not shortlisted

Guys these tricks wont work in reality, honestly if the company & hiring manager desperately wants you no matter what they will hire you or just make excuses and keep rejecting your profile.

Thanks,
Nikhil

In this whole process the company which gives you opportunity even after knowing that your notice period is 3 months becomes stupid at the end.

This 90 days NP has become pain, HR calls and asks whether you can join in 15 days. Hardly able to schedule interviews.

The advice here is valid but only for the best case scenarios, companies wont hand over offer letter without actually seeing proof of your official notice period.
