The ultimate introduction to Pygame

Can someone tell me how to get the files? I can't get the test rock to show even though I copied the file into my working PyCharm file

I'm really weary of falling into tutorial hell, but you told us the inner workings so well that I seriously have been confident enough to do my own stuff after this tutorial. Thank you so much this might be the best programming tutorial I have ever seen.

Only about an hour in, but I'm coming to this after following Eric Matthes' Space Invaders tutorial from Python Crash Course and wow, this video contains so much information that should have been included in that section of the book. Matthes' step-by-step refactoring is really helpful, but otherwise the reader is left to just kind of infer how stuff like rectangles actually work. This video is incredibly helpful and is very demonstrative of how simple pygame actually is.

I found that I could not play music and jump sound simultaneously. (pygame 2.5.2). Changed to:
pygame.mixer.music.load('audio/music.wav')
pygame.mixer.music.set_volume(0.1)
pygame.mixer.music.play(-1)

I absolutely love the tutorial. I've done a far share of Unity and C# tutorials, but none have been close to as helpful as this. You're clear, make it simple, and the exercises really help problem solving. I feel like I know so much now compared to other tutorials. You've easily earned a sub. Thanks so much

I've been having some trouble with the background image scaling in the window, it is ether way zoomed out or too zoomed in . I was wondering what the detentions are for all of your visual assets because I also may have some trouble with the sprites. Thanks for any help!

I am a python and pygame newbie, trying to figure out how to make a simple 8-bit game.
Learning from your video at the moment, but I can't seem to get the exact same screen as what you are working in.
My screen is dark grey, but my key words are all in different colours than yours.
Also I can't see the numbers in-before the lines of input.

Could anyone help me with this?
