You're explaining how to connect a single-phase VFD (L-N), but you ended up wiring it as a 2-phase (R-S) one! Why is that?

So if I'm understanding this correctly, there is no neutral in the circuit, so the two power leads come from the double pole breaker, red into one pole and the black into the other pole? So I'd be pulling three wires, a ground, and two power leads and no neutral?

My pump is single phase (I guess, as it doesn't say anything else) with a standard plug... It has a pressure tank attached... Hoping just to plug it into a VFD controller to do what a VFD does... Is there a controller that will do that?

I don't mean to be a a$$hole but if you had more experience you would know that any time that you are putting a stranded wire under a screw it will hold better if you twist the wire in the opposite direction of normal wire twist.

Do uvw Have a neutral? And if so what color is neutral?

In video you connect red and black to L1 and L2 witch are hot. Each wire provides 120v. You connect green wire as ground. Where does the neutral white wire connect ? I'm wiring a TECO E510 VFD. 240 volts single phase input power to power a 240 volt 3 phase motor.
