Is this new? iPhone Recovery even from fully disabled state (too many bad passcode entries)

my data recovery screen ends at data recovery failed, how could I fix this issue?

I'm having this issue with my iphone right now, but it keeps saying to enter the passcode for data recovery but each time I enter any passcode I can think of it doesn't work. Is there a way I can at least get my pictures from my iphone?

I believe there might be a bug with this. On a iPhone 7+ upon upgrading the firmware this failed several times and the phone was disabled. Has anyone else come across this?

Yes I think this is something new they're doing I had a data recovery job The customer tried restoring the phone So when I did a restore It retrieved the The customer's data back Rebuilding the data I thought it was pretty strange I took a picture of it But worked out retrieving the data I think it's awesome But I think this could be A danger also 🙄
