I think this ship will be perfect for a Galaxy snub since it can build bases. Jump to planets in a new system and send out the cutter to scout out spots with the best resources or whatever, that way the galaxy doesn't have to do a lot of atmospheric flight.

The cutter scout signals are ridiculously low. Cross section and EM at 1km. The only real reading was IR , cut your engines and your practically invisible.

Glad the Drake line has a starter ship for those that appreciate the athletics.
I'll be looking forward to the C1 release to the game, the A1 is a nice substitute for now and has renewed my interest in the game in the expectation of the C1 release during IAE later in the month.

I have been using the scout since i brough it and love its early game versatility and serves as a good shuttle later on its one of the best starter ships IMO and every pilot should have a cutter in there fleet :)

Cant wait for the lighting update! Hopefully it will help with fps and landing in the dark without reshade!

Why not open the rear door from the cockpit before you head out?

Bought it just to have an LTI token, but almost tempted to keep it. It's ugly as sin, but these new ships are so well designed. So much space for a starter ship too. My only other small ship is the Aurora LN, and it just doesn't have any personality compared to this.

Really hope they go back and get all the older ships up to par with something like this ship, instead of just pumping out new ones, because the differences are starting to get way too noticeable.

I have always loved drake ships, I still have my Cutlass black (my first ship). The little magic school bus is a very flexible starter that's just so forgiving to fly. I admit I never would have thought to use spacious or luxurious in a sentence with a drake ship 😅 . It also has a surprisingly low sig ...oh you just said that lmao. But yes, great little ship IMHO more flexible than the Titan even if you can't move the same cargo. Thanks for a excellent display of the qualities of the Cutter scout Kate.

I shut down the comm with just the normal cutter easily all the time. Also lol you have lights on the cutter :P helps with landing at night

They should make a compact hover bike... Frankly, there should be a dozen different hover bikes with unique characteristics.

I like the fact that there are 2 small engines on the side rather than just one big one. I think it looks a lot cooler. I also like the spoiler compared to the two fins that were on the normal cutter

That was a harsh night landing, I can see why you enjoy the Terrapin for its robustness.

The cutter signature is either bugged or it is the only ship with a new standard. It is I believe lower than that of the Ghost or M50. And by alot.

I really wish the cutter had more cargo space 😢

I am waiting for the third one as I am not a massive fan of scanning. I hope it's something completely ridiculous.

I thought I read somewhere that the Scout variant has dual thrusters? Can you speak to any performance improvement?

I picked up a CCU to the Scout, but have to admit, I'm waiting to check the Expedition variant before I do anything with my un-meltable (upgraded a referral dragonfly to it) Cutter. Hopefully we see it sooner than later.
