Was This Poltergeist Activity? Unexplained Incidents inside a Scottish Bothy - Halloween Special!

I live not far from there people say it’s haunted it’s meant to be the old man / shepherd and his wife he still wonders about at night he also lost his wife in thar but he means no harm just doesn’t like open doors / keep the heat in 😂😂 you can hear footsteps at night heading to the kitchen also some times hear a lady whispering stuff but don’t no what. it’s nice to see it kept clean and looked after what a brilliant place it’s not scary one bit it’s a beautiful place to stay 👻😂👍

The white lagan. I've been there a few time and loved it. Yes it's haunted local legend says its an old man and old woman that haunt the bothy , as far as I remember the story goes the only woman took ill in the middle of winter and the old man attempted to carry her through the snow in blizzard conditions to the nearest village of dalmellington , but due to the bad weather he turned back for home when he eventually got back to the house , when he lifted his wife into the room he kicked the door shut and place his dying wife on the bed , it's said the old man died in his chair beside the fire bitter and angry from the lose of his wife , well it's something like that and he still haunts the bothy to this day

its the wind. a gust can form a negative pressure wave inside a building and easily close a door in the opposite direction of any draught. (especially in a building that has a chimney) open your back door then open a window in a bedroom and you can pretty much guarantee that the bedroom door will slam shut even though you think the draught should be coming in the window
if you go into a place feeling its creepy youre gonna be creeped out. ("it was genuinely terrifying"..... no it wasn't, it was only terrifying because you were in that frame of mind)
whats creepy about saws? its a bothy you need to chop wood so a saw makes perfect sense to be there. its an old creaky bothy, things move and creak in old buildings
I watched the footage of the "chair moving" and it was another heap of nothing ("that chair is moving" is it really? so film it and stop just saying its doing it)
if you go in thinking stuff is paranormal you will have paranormal experiences

over active imaginations
as a camping in a bothy video this was pretty cool but the "paranormal" nonsense wasted it "theres no other logical explanation" yes there is there are a million rational explanations but your imagination got the better of you and you defaulted to ghosts...

Good luck getting out tell whoever to stay in house when you go

Beautiful spot! Please, imho, you should have shown us around the inside while it was light out. It’s frustrating when you(or anyone) gets to a place and then keeps the camera on themselves instead of giving us a thorough tour. Just a suggestion.

And you and your friend's reaction was so genuine, and being an American I love seeing the Bothys ya'll have over there, wish we had those here! I subscribed and look forward to more of your videos. I grew up in a haunted house, and my grandparents lived in one. So I usually say I'm a knower rather than a believer when it comes to stuff like that happening. Doesn't change the fact that you never expect it, and it always makes you feel funny. Happy Travels!

On another video about this particular bothy, they were surprised to see how close a guy in a 4x4 drove up there. Seems to me if anyone wanted to play silly beggars, particularly when it's noisy weather outside, they probably get great kicks out of it...that, and keeping the old wives tale going about it being haunted

I used to live in Sutherland in the highlands. I’m English and the things I witnessed up there! Even the moon plays trick on you but the most scariest is hiking through the woods and coming across a witches croft! the things they hang off the trees are grim. Ghosts are nothing! Get into the woods it’s like the Blair witch project on steroids up there! Armour yourself in Christ before even thinking about it. If you don’t believe in witches and ghosts you are living in a matrix
