my childhood, I started to watch this when I was 9 or 10.

You know I knew was a Japanese version of power rangers but this is my first time seeing it

This is soooo much better than the American version. It’s amazing how the US used certain scenes, but with US actors and voice actors. The witch? We know her in America as Rita Repulsa. Lol!

Maaan.... America should take this idea and some of it's stock footage and rebrand it using teens with different ethnicities, and instead of 1 female?...they should make another one of the Sentai's member a female as well so it wouldn't come across as too sexist! 🤔

It's a shit series. Zyuranger also stands out from previous series with a much lighter and offbeat tone, close to parody. The scenario is much less dark than usual, more oriented towards a young audience. Bandora and his acolytes, marked by a very strong humorous character, are quite far from the classic "villains" of the Super sentai series, such as the sinister Doctor Mad from Bioman or the frightening Emperor Lar-Deus from Flashman. On the contrary, they do not hesitate on occasion to push the song, and willingly attract sympathy despite their status as enemies of heroes. Note also that none of the villains die at the end of the series; they are simply imprisoned again.

After watching this and watching the American version of the first episode I honestly don't think this version wouldn't be a big hit in the usa market at the time, maybe in Japan it was a huge hit and it worked for that market l, but I just think if we gotten this version in the usa we wouldn't have the power rangers we know and love here, nothing against this version I liked it but like I said this version probably wouldn't worked out in the usa.
