The Mandalorian joins a mismatched crew of cutthroat mercenaries trying to spring a convict from a prison ship, a mission that is dangerous and more difficult than it first appeared.

The Mandalorian crosses paths with a rookie bounty hunter who is looking to bring in a quarry that is well beyond his skill so he asks him for help.

That mysterious dark figure that approached Fennec Shand as she lay on the ground dying at the end of e5 also shows up at the end of s2e1 after the battle with the krayt dragon. Then he gets his own series. And you should watch that one too. It’s good. I won’t say who it is but he wears armor like Mando’s.

The devil guy as you call him is Clancy Brown, known for tonnes and tonnes of stuff. To name a few.. the guard in Shawshank Redemption. Sargent Zim in Starship Troopers, and of course The Kurgan in Highlander. I mean the list is a mile long. What hasn't he been in. 😊
And yes, you didnt notice Bill Burr, just one of the best stand up acts in the last 25 years.. 😎

Hey Cassie! I think your reactions are as adorable as Grogu. There's something about seeing someone first fall in love with something you've been attached to for a long time that is kind of heartwarning. One suggestion, for Season Two especially. Clone Wars is a major commitment in time, but there are parts of it and Rebels that give some important context that make some things more meaningful. To at least know who Ahsoka and Bo Katahn are, and how they fit in the story, helps a lot. Ahsoka went from being annoying to everyone to being a fan favorite, and the Clone Wars managed to make identical clones unique personalities. Her arc and Annakin's in the Clone Wars manage to recontextualize some things. Ahsoka's Trial is a story arc in season 5 that puts the prequels in a new light. The Fall of Mandalore helps, too. Rebels isn't as good, but Ahsoka's confrontation with Vader in that adds another touch (but might take a bit a way from the Kenobi show). It might be worth watching at least these parts and then going back to Revenge of the Sith and the Mandalorian. Anyway, keep watching and reacting. May the Force be with you!

It is like a western set in Star Wars. But if you go back to the original Star Wars, that is kind of what it was like. Lucas basically created a western in space. He was heavily influenced by Westerns and the old "serials" from his childhood.

What a lot of people don't realize is that the Mandalorian character is based off of the Clint Eastwood character in the old westerns. I'm surprised that most people can't figure this out but I guess many have not seen those movies from the 60s (The Good, the bad and the ugly, A Fistful of dollars, Hang em high). The Mandalorian series is much like an old western except its played in the future like Star Wars. That character was the quiet loner, bounty hunter, living by his own code of ethics similar to the Mandalorian. I really like how they resurrected that character and brought it back to life in this series.

Way back in the early 70's, when George Lucas was first writing Star Wars, it had the clunky title; "The Adventures of Annikan Starkiller, as Taken from the Journal of the Whills, Saga I: The Star Wars".

There were...changes.

"Originally, I was trying to have the story be told by somebody else (an immortal being known as a Whill); there was somebody watching this whole story and recording it, somebody probably wiser than the mortal players in the actual events. I eventually dropped this idea, and the concepts behind the Whills turned into the Force. But the Whills became part of this massive amount of notes, quotes, background information that I used for the scripts; the stories were actually taken from the Journal of the Whills."
―George Lucas

When Star Wars Rogue One was made, Chirrut Imwe (the blind martial artist) and his friend with the laser machine gun, were Guardians of the Whills. A religious order associated but separate from the Jedi (on the planet Jedha).

It has been speculated that Yoda, Yaddle (a female member on the Jedi Council) and "Baby Yoda" here are Whills and they are all Force Sensitive. Perhaps explaining why they wanted to dissect the little guy - to find out how to make Force Sensitivity possible for soldiers or rich people, etc.

A western or a Samurai flick but alot of westerns are based on samurai flicks. This one is based on shogun assassin AKA lonewolf and cub. That said this get really western later but Book of Boba is a full on samurai opera.
