I'm about to get one of those new Parker IM premium (the brown one) but wanted to know if there's a way to change the nib on it. Let's say I bought it in medium and later on I want it on fine. Is there a way?

It was a somewhat arbitrary listing of what constitutes intermediary. I have two Kaweco pens and they write great, but I think the Lilliput is more of a "specialty pen."

I love the Lamy Studio, it's a real beauty. Some people have issues with the smooth metal section as seen here, grip slippage issues and etc, but I have the brushed metal version which sports a black rubber-coated section, and no issues with that at all.

I just use the papermate fountain pen- my first refillable. Would you recommend papermate?

I recently got a black Lamy Safari for my birthday. I was totally head-over-heels for that pen's quality.
Even here, Lamy Studio is the pen that I find really gravitated towards. Someday, when I earn enough money, I plan on collecting best fountain pens around the world, and Lamy Studio (and 2000) will be one of them!

It's funny how when I tried to tell my friends that I got a Lamy fountain pen for my birthday, they had no idea what Lamy company was about.

funny enough in germany every students learn to write with a fountain pen. thats why pens like the safari always remain student pens 4 me. not a bad thinc tho, love my handwriting. +the liliput has a little converter available.

In my opinion, Pilot Custom 74 (F) is the best for general everyday use.

Parker IM is rubbish. My disappointment in that pen was what motivated me to look at more high end pens.

I purchased Parker IM premium version exactly like on the video - gold and light factured aluminium! I hope I will like it)

This video sounds more like a commercial that is little to not helpful. “Feels like an extension of your arm”, what does that even mean? What about the nibs, besides the sizes they come in? Materials, types (round, italic, stub?)

There is no fountain pen community in india. You need to search for five stationary shops for just a cheap fountain pens. And that also costs less than a dollar

I've TWSBI 580 and LAMY STUDIO both very good fountain pens, but with Broad nibs even better.
