A few weeks ago I saw the sims 4 account on tiktok comment on a horse video! So many of the replies were "So are we finally getting horses?"

Best thing is the update is going to be having a birthday party while updating sims (the update will be on my birthday!!)

One of my favourtie games is shutting down forever on June 30th.
My internet went out for 3 days, and many people close to me's homes have been destroyed due to strong winds.
My long awaited horse riding lessons were delayed because of the destruction.
In the midst of this darkness, one of the things I've been waiting for the most in more recent years, one I forgot could ever happen, behold, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life-

This would be awesome if households were bigger and split Sims/Pets like in earlier Sims games. I'd love to have a family and horses and some cats.. But I can't.. Because only 8...

My 16th birthday was June 21st when the horses! were announced and crazy enough I went horse back riding after months of planning and years of begging ever since I was 7 years old to say the least it was a really crazy moment for me after playing the sims since I was 9 and wanting horses just as much as everyone else but never thinking it would happen

The only thing I wish they might have put in Cottage Living vs Horse Ranch is that I would have rather had sheep in Cottage Living and llamas in Horse Ranch. Sheep fit the whole 'English cottage core' thing a lot more in my opinion? Also, living in Utah (which Horse Ranch looks like it might be modeled after the 4 corners area down south) I feel like I see way more llamas than sheep, but maybe I just have an uncanny knack for finding llamas around here.😂

OMG OMG HORSES!! Im such a horse girl. I´v been riding since I was little, have currently a lease horse and I love this expansion pack already. It was my favourite thing in sims 3. Please EA don't let it flop!!

In my opinion, this is NOT an expansion pack worth of content, but instead a smaller game pack worth of content with an expansion pack price tag. It's disappointing that the Sims creators haven't expressed any concerns about the lack of new content in the trailer. It's possible they're being paid by EA to occasionally promote the company, (not to react but to build for the game and occasionally make a sponsored video), and want to keep the money coming in. The trailer doesn't show much beyond a different backdrop for cottage living, and it's unclear what else is included besides horses. Nectar making isn't particularly new, as we already have something similar in eco-lifestyle, and farm animals are something we should have already received with cottage living. It's a shame.

As an equestrian who have watched the trailer today hope you are having fun at vid con! I am excited but some of the horse features are not the most accurate Western Jumping for one. And gaits. But I’m exited! Hope you have fun in vid con!

I'm pretty certain this pack is highly influenced by Texas. Google Image "Texas Mountains". Strangerville is 100% Sedona, Arizona, with its red rocks and the paranoid person selling rocks at the booth. Sedona is allllll about aliens and a vortex and all that (though there's def Area 51 vibes too).

Okay the one thing that isn't making cry with joy about this is like... with so many pets being literal family members, 8 really seems like not enough. You have one dog, 2 cats, and a horse, and you better hope your sim doesn't have triplets (or they're a single parent if they do) because someone is disappearing. I really wish they'd up the household limit to like 10 or 12 and give an option to completely customize it. That or making pets a separate type of family member that doesn't contribute to the household limit but maybe a pet limit or something.

I have played the Sims since i was, what 8? I played the Sims1 and 2, not 3 i hated that one, and now 4. I never had horses bc the one time i played the sims3 i had a horse and i bugged so hard it corrupted my game.. I am not a horse girl at all though i have been riding horses, but more taken care of them and i love to be near horses! But not a horse girl.
I don't NEED horses in the sims mainly because i never play with animals at all, but i am looking forward to see what they bring and i am gonna buy it and play it, and hopefully its going to be a fun pack with some things i will use often and horses i will use once in a while :)
I am crossing my fingers hard that it is going to be the dream pack for all the horse fans out there! I hope you get the pack you deserve girls and guys!
