Daya's character arch was the saddest for me. It reflects the reality of prison, where most people do end up getting worse rather than better. She had so much potential in life, and she threw it away.

Everyone blaming Aleida for Daya’s fate...did you forget about Aleida’s mother? Who taught her at a young age to be like she is, pimped her out. Aleida wanted better for her girls, she just didn’t know how.
