The WC2 barracks architecture is better than the monolithic one from WC3 (which also got used in WoW). In fact the latter would be classified as a Keep as per IRL standards.

I'd ask for a Reforged of Warcraft 2, but considering how bad WC3 Reforged was, it's best to let it lie.

You shoud have created knights and mages/ wizards, not only archers, faster. Anyway, a great gameplay!

The difficulty of this mission is just slightly off from being fun. Never was a fan of raid and build mission starts, dragons come just a little too frequently, the deathknights wouldn't be a problem if they didn't have unlimited vision and I could outrange them before they just delete half my army or buildings, and the lack of lumber is kind of insulting.

Instead of having your combat units just sitting there with their thumbs up their own asses, have them destroy the orc buildings. Jesus.... no sense of combat tactics.

I always loved how brutal some units sounded, like this knight for example or ogres, elf voices on the other hand were contrastically soft and polite. And this bloodlust sound is so aggressive and intimidating!

Having a hard time finishing this on the ps1, but this walkthrough gave me idea. This is awesome, thanks!

I would have much rather we had more of this over what we got. I fully believe WoW killed Warcraft.

Factoid: dwarves can blow up boulders. To get to that gold mine north of the original town, use 3-4 of them to demolish the terrain. This gives you access to the gold mine just above the town.

The sayings of almost everyone were much better on WarCraft2 rather than WarCraft3. The knights sounded far more menacing and as if they actually served me. The elves, servants, wizards etc. Sounded more enthusiastic, you could sense the stakes were high from the tone in their voices.

Kinda frustrating that you didn't build a lot of towers, so many resources wasted to build archers in result

Awesome game, such nastalgic watching this. I spend many hours on the game. Building maps and letting your friends play them was soo amazing.
