Just go to the Micloud option and if you log in, a button will automatically appear "find devices-search devices", the Enable the Mi count field inside the device will already appear your ID. There is a trick which Xiamoi have only just discovered.If you set up your account and typed your phone number with the country code, less the first 0 of your number, log in with your country code + the first zero then reset password. It works! This is the message from Xiaomi Support: It has raised our attention that some users add regional phone code after country code. For example, the country code of Philippines +63, and the area code is 0. Philippine user can create two different Mi accounts with +63 and +630, but both of these two Mi accounts only display +63 by default. Thus, when this user login Mi account, reset password or activate the device, the device will prompt "incorrect account or password’.

When I enter a random password and hard press it, the box that appears has a phone, Cut, Copy,Paste. There is no magnifying glass. How do I get into the Google account?

Wonder why it's not working on your phone? What this guy is using seems to be MIUI 9, which was released in mid-2017. Of course such a trivial bypass wouldn't work on a newer version (honestly I'm kinda surprised they let it slip in the first place). So yes, you can in fact perform this in 2022... If you have a phone that hasn't been updated in the last 4 years.
