I hate expert aiming in any game. In real life, you have situational awareness, when you shoot a gun, you don't use a joystick to aim, and you can't hear anything if you don't have hearing protection, you aren't seeing the world through a screen you're actually there. The auto targeting is a realistic way of simulating how one would actually aim in real life. Expert mode is just a convoluted way of making the game harder. Why do you think 14 year olds are able to merc the shit out of legitimate soldiers in online fps games like CoD? Just because that young kid is good doesn't mean they know anything about guns and how to aim. That and there are cheats in red dead aswell you get the codes from buying newspapers, and the code is hidden in the article.

I just replayed it and can confidently say it held up even better than I expected. I’d give it a 9/10. Only losing a point because the controls can be quite jank and I personally think the Mexico part drags on just a bit too long.

in 4-5 playthroughs over 5 years, i just came across one of my favourite random encounters for the first time. in Tall Trees, a couple of guys are finishing up loading crates of TNT onto a cart, and one of them will say something along the lines of "whew, that about does it, i feel like a cigar, you got a light?", the other will strike a match, and they'll both go up in a comedically HUGE explosion.

Like Niko, jon will live on in gaming history forever and its not just because of there amazing stories but also because there completely made up there very believeble characters and you can imagine them having an existence outside of the game if that makes any sense lol

i only ever played 1 once, beat the second twice. it sounds like that the second improves on almost all of ones shortcomings. but should've kept like one or two things for sure.

I know doing RDR 2 review is going to be a nightmare but at least tell us did you at least finish the game yet 10 months is pretty long😅

Did you know that when john trys to shoot the strange man he fires 3 shots withe the 4th jamming. The three 3 shots represent John,uncle and Abigails deaths by the end with the 4th jamming being jack living and surviving the end of the story

That's entirely on you for thinking the family member would be there in the middle of the night after it just told you to come back at noon

And here I thought I sucked this game off no act man has no gag reflex and rightfully so one of all time greats sadly I don't think Rockstar will make stories with so much love put in them like red dead and gta 5 anymore

The whole series, starting with Red Dead Revolver and going through to Red Dead Redemption 2, has been awesome to play. I've loved each of the games for different reasons, but rdr 2 is my favorite to play so far.

Rdr1 is basically a wild west movie thats playable, its amazing.

Theories about the stranger in the black top hat range from him being the devil, Death, time or a couple others I think. John shoots at him 3 times and the 4th shot doesn’t fire. 3 shots, 3 deaths (John, Abagail and uncle) with the 4th shot not firing meaning Jack is spared. Cool little lore theory… and he makes a re appearance in RDR2 in some creepy ways.

This game is timeless never gets old my grandpa got me this with the 360 and I played it with him and he very much enjoyed the story and I played the whole game with him he told me about the second one and we played that together as well it’s something we really enjoy together it’s awesome we found something so modern to have in common

So how long will RDR 2 review will be?

You missed that you unlock outfits by playing poker doing a bounty or doing night watch missions etc you said they don’t amount to nothing but they do if you care for a different outfits I remember grinding for them all

I recommend an oldie, but a goodie by the name of GUN. It's a western that came out in 2005, I believe, and is great. Maybe nostalgia is getting the better of me, but I had a great time playing that game when I was nine or ten years old.

You will really enjoy rdr2, for I played rdr1 first and holy SH## is rdr2 difficult and complicated at first compared to it's predecessor, but it becomes so fun after the first few missions.

i just want to say half life 2 came out in 2004 this game came out in 2010...half life 2 looks better but still good

On top of all that I need to replay RDR1 and, let's face it, RDR2 after that. The sequel improves upon just about everything, especially the feel of gameplay (the guns in particular).

Having too much stuff to play is a good problem to have I suppose.
