Bronchitis suck I have had to many time and I currently have it again.

My goodness, 4 days with fever, lot of coughing night and day, couldn’t sleep well for 1 week, it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever experienced.

I just hit the 2 week mark with bronchitis. I think it’s gotten kindof better but my throat is so raw from coughing and the side effects from the steroids/antibiotics caused my mental health to plummet. Hopefully I don’t need to see the doctor again. 😞

I just found out I hade acute today and I’ve been so so scared

Minor acute bronchitis doesn't hurt at all. The only thing that is a problem with it is that it produces small amounts of mucus to make you cough, but not enough to restrict airways. Likely not enough to cause chest pains hence, doesn't hurt.
Several times I had the cold and it's always the cough that lingers after. 4 times now since after my puberty years, cold/flu will leave a lingering cough. 3/4 of those were acute bronchitis. First time I went to my primary physician, I was given medicine and i recovered in about a week. 2nd time, I decided to sit it out because it was just a cough and it doesn't bother me too much, that one lasted for just over a month. The third one I went to my primary physician after the 2nd week of lingering cough. Lo and behold, was diagnosed with acute bronchitis, receive prescription med, and I recovered within the week.

I can't imagine what a true bronchitis infection is. I could tell you the minor one still puts you out of breath due to the amount of cough you have to do. The amount of deep breaths you have to do. But no chest pains. Very annoying.
Maybe it's just my body being more resilient to chest pains. Maybe in 20 years when I'm considered an old man, I'll really know.

I am bronchitis patient. Living with it is so uneasy. Better to die

Anyone has more than week coughing then get treatment from MD ( special Doctor)

I have blood in my mucus and it feels hard breathing without a humidifier. I'm scared it isn't acute or if there is something worse going on to cause this

I too had brochitis....i was admitted in ayurvedic hospital for treatment. It really works. They removed sputum. Before i was hearing my breath sound with mucus.
After 10 days treatment i am feeling better. They said to avoid diet which triggers to bronchitis.

Does acute bronchitis cause depression? And sadness for no reason?

Oh dear having it rn but whenever I get it I take 2-3 times a day cineol capsules for about 5-7 days. It helps so much and is more useful than antibiotics I always experience horrible side effects with them. Can’t take antibiotics at all

I have acute bronchitis for 3 weeks now and I visited the doctor on the 2nd week, she made me take antibacterial meds, mucolytic + antihistamine meds + an inhaler and vitamins to boost immune system. I'm only producing clear foamy mucus and It's hard to breathe esp at night bc I'm coughing and wheezing so much. I also threw up if I coughed too much. I also feel chest tightness, I can't breathe properly (SALBUTAMOL nebulizer helped so much when I was still self medicating, but bc I'm staying away from home, i went to the doctor and they recommended me to have my inhaler instead of nebulizer ) I still wheeze and have chest tightness now and I hate it so much, I don't know when will it go away 😭

Jesus i have it now, I believe i have all the symptoms, runny nose, dry cough or with mucus, wheezing, chest tightness, and then on top of that i can feel my chest expanding and the stuck mucus as they expand. Its weird and kinda hard to explain but if you had bronchitis yk it there and it is real snd its is bad asf

I’m dealing with it too got antibiotics pill for cough an inhaler and I’m on potassium chloride because my potassium was low. Thank God no blockages I had a blood clot on my lungs years back so I’m glad they didn’t come back. I feel bad now my chest hurting and I’m so sore it gets worse at night and sometimes I wake up crying. Thank God it wasn’t pneumonia!

I'm currently suffering from this, I had it a month ago too, the chest pain is unbearable, breathing hurts, coughing feels like getting stabbed with a hot metal rod, but I refuse to see a doctor or go to the hospital, I'd say the most annoying thing is the mucus coating my "inner throat", and the dryness that follows coughing the mucus out, I'm very tired, there's pain behind my eyes, my nose is runny and stuffed at the same time, I get dizzy everytime I stand up, truly good health is a crown only the sick can see.

M suffering chronic bronchitis..very difficult..to live this way ...it's since four months

I got over the worst of it in 1 day by taking as hot a shower as I could stand, and odd as it sounds once everything was loose from the steam I was jumping and jogging in place to help break everything free (one good jump and you’ll see what I’m talking about).
Bonus tip: Smoke a joint after for best results, you’ll be hacking and shit, but I promise you’ll feel 100x better tomorrow.

Anyone else find more relief from a nebulizer vs an inhaler? My inhaler seems to do little to zero for this.

I've had bronchitis many times before. I usually get it every time I get a cold and it doesn't really bother me much aside from the constant coughing up of white mucus. I usually do the Z pak followed by Prednisone, but I don't recommend Prednisone because it's very harsh on the stomach.

Question. I quit smoking cigarettes 4 years ago but I’m constantly finding my hacking hacking. Sometimes I hack up mucus but most of the time nothing comes up. Is this normal?

Everyone, please drink pineapple juice everyday. I swear that destroyed my bronchitis within 3 days. I was alone and scared with how my chest felt tight, wheezing and popping sounds. The burning feeling in chest from mucus cough and sore throat and roof of mouth was hell. The bromelain in pineapple juice is great for healing the chest infections.

Not able to sleep properly from past 3weeks. I have to sit and sleep. If I lie down I cough a lot and end up vomiting. Today doctor said it's acute bronchitis and started using inhaler. Taking steroid too.

First time having this disease. Esophagus feels very sore, so does the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth, and hurts to swallow. The thing is I don't understand how people claim they constantly cough like a cold, which I'm not experiencing. I just cough a couple times occasionally and can breathe perfectly. Other than that, 7/10 disease, slightly reccomend.

On day 4 of having Bronchitis.. Went to ER it was so painful. Put me on steroid and gave me a breathing treatment. Sent me home with antibiotics

Coughing up thick yellow junk is infection and I was never given antibiotics at any time in the past 10 yrs of being misdiagnosed with it therefore I need Albuterol with nebulizer ever so often and more than I'd like to admit. The ER misdiagnosed me 3times until I recorded my breathing one night then let my Dr. hear it that's when I was properly diagnosed 2years ago on the front of covid pandemic. It wasnt caused by that it was caused by Crestor. I slowly took myself off of it and I gained my strength back and was able to loose some weight and threw the years gained my muscles back I am the rare case it caused bronchitis. I still have trouble on the left side yea my left lung is affected. But I can only do 1/2of the solution because it causes too many bad side effects like racing heartbeat, shaking.

I think I have this but I had just gotten over the same thing like 3 weeks ago and it lasted for 2 weeks. now it’s back. So I’m not sure if they were the same thing… maybe I just have a bad immune system and I keep getting sick

I HAVE bronchitis with Reactive Airway desise I have it right now as making this (Reactive Airway desise is a disise your born with that causes problem with your air ways wich makes it much worse then its supposed to be) and I got it right before a big whatever I think social studies but I can not eat solid foods without gagging or throwing due to bronchitis now I got to tell my school that I had bronchitis and cough drops won't work! So here's what I have to do every morning and night.
1.take cough medicine and it's yucky as f**k
2. I have to take breathing treatments that take 6-12 minutes
3 got to take pills one big chungus pill I gotta cut in half and one small pill I have to slalow all pills
The worst part is when I puke it fells like I'm puking out my brain
