In worst cases if shorting has happened long enough the bottom part of plates are eaten up. That's why it's not possible to fix led battery even when fluids are changed and salts removed for most dead batteries like shown in video. Battery may look nice from top but in reality most of the plates are gone.

You sound like a late night infomercial. If you talk like a real person maybe we could follow you, but you sound like a paid late night Chinese for dim sum.

The most value of the welder was at the 100A mark, otherwise incomplete data if the higher amperage would have brought the other one to the same level.

just shows how ripped off we are when using modern battery chargers, some wont even try with near dead batteries. I brought back many using a old basic manual charger, then switch to the modern one that brings it back to life.

It appears that in some cases a battery can be recovered, but some failures cannot be fixed. Probably more a matter of the cause of failure than the technique.

Epsom salt is a misnomer and is actually magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. That would most likely add to the problem rather than cure it.

You can restore literally anything that's broken but us Westerners don't do it because we live in a throw away society. In the likes of Pakistan, India,Vietnam, Thailand etc they can restore anything with just a few tools and skills. They make us look bad

Just not worth it fooling around with questionable batteries.Had my 3 bank trolling motor batteries on a good maintainer and one must have shorted out blowing the top off and all the acid with it. Luckily it was a all aluminum boat or it might have burned the garage down. Now nothing is on a charger without me there.
