so i just bought one as a pet and had it on my hand playing with it i did not know its could sting real bad that’s cool

A neighbor took a sting on the cheek from a giant cicada killer wasp, around two and a half inches long, and was hospitalized on emergency basis with extreme swelling and high voltage type shock pain. On returning home he wore a beekeeper's protective headgear until winter arrived.

Are you supposed to be experts on Scorpions? If so, I have to ask, why have you put "poisonous" in the description? They are venomous.

Love how the coyote Peterson guy claims nobody has died from a scorpion in the US in over 50 years. Then you watch another video (this one) by someone else and it says 25 people died from this scorpion alone in a 6 year period lol.

25 in 6 years back 80 years ago, but the new tally is 2 fatalities since the mid-1980s. The 2 must have been people susceptible to the venom also.

I just got stung by a baby bark scorpion on the inside of my hand today and ended up here to see what effects it will have.
I can tell there is something foreign in my system with the pain and tingling in my hand.
I've lived in Arizona for 15 years and this is the first sting at 70 yrs. old.
I guess better late than never.

In revelation 9 the angel of the bottomless pit him and his army of locust stings like this scorpion for 5 months straight but on a grandeur scale so you can only imagine

I’m visiting Az and got stung by one while sitting on the couch. I lifted my shirt and it fell out.
I was working in the yard and it must have crawled up my pant leg.
Extremely painful.
Ice compress helped.

I, unfortunately, live in Arizona and my property has these scorpions. I've been stung by these @#$% things twice. 10 hours of waves of hot burning needles! My thumb was numb for 3 months afterward. Talk about pain! Kill them all on sight!

For being "Kings of Pain", it was a bit dramatic. I got stung by an Arizona Bark Scorpions on my foot (where your toe meets the foot= a ton of nerves) right after I woke up. I thought I stepped on a push pin, so I grabbed my foot, and was trying to pull it out, but there was nothing there. I yelled so my mom ran into the room and was confused. She then yelled out "Scorpion", so I jumped across the room. It hurt for a few days, but at a certain point it was so numb, I could bend my toe back, and it didn't hurt (the numbness spread across most of my foot).

I just found one in my kids jump house while they were jumping in it. Luckily no one got hurt.

Literally just got stung by one hurts like a mfer but def not “worse than death” lol

We got those here in Oklahoma I just got stung by one and yes it was unbearable

How are these guys still alive? I thought you would have to be raced to a hospital or you’d die??

A bark scorpion 🦂 just stung me on the middle of my right hand ✋ at midnight its 1AM now.... going to sleep it off 💤 😴 I feel pain its like a burning feeling on my right hand feels a little numb from my hand to my bicep also I could feel the venom going up my arm veins or maybe that was my blood getting thick because of venom 🤔 🤪 my palm is hot 🔥 but thats it (I'm 26 years old) not the first time getting stung third time 😑. Going to sleep 💤

There’s no such thing as a poisonous scorpion. It’s venomous.

I've lived in Arizona for 28 years and our old house was infested with these scorpions. In the summer, we would see at least 1 every single day inside our home and in 8 years and I don't know how this was even possible but in 8 years living in that house none of us were stung.

I got stung by this dude. I was sotering something earlier so I though I had stepped on my sotering tool and burnt my foot. But to my surprise the tool was disconnected and I see one of these fools down there. I was calm until I got pain in all of my leg specifically my vein area. Almost passed out and they took the to the emergency room. Once I got there I was okay, but a big scare

I got stung about 5 hours ago I’m good though it does hurt but the chance of death is very low and pain for most people isn’t that bad on the research I’ve done I’m experiencing it right as I’m typing this but I’ve had a few drinks in me and feel pretty fine it’s hard to sleep though I live in Sedona az btw

I live in las vegas and the bark scorpion is common but i have yet to see them thank goodness( i have seen black widows tho ) so i was reading about them since you said they are deadly. The bark scorpion has only killed two people in Arizona since the 1960s!!
Edit i noticed the first guy who was stung on here was just fine because he was able several minutes later to help the other guy get a sting so this seems like its just fear mongering for good TV 😂

Az Bark Scorpion was one of the worst pains I’ve ever had. Stung by a small one in the same spot as they got and the pain increases for hours before it subsides.

Yup! I absolutely hate them and I just killed one in my backyard last night🤦‍♂️ugh!!

I know this video was posted over a year ago, but I stepped on a Bark scorpion 4 days ago. I almost never go outside without turning on a light and checking the surroundings. That morning I went out in the dark. Going back inside I felt a sharp pain around my toes and immediately turned on a house light thinking I would be pulling out a prickly pear needle. There was only a wet spot, but the pain was increasing in that area. I then thought this must be a scorpion sting. I was already at the kitchen sink, so I washed the area, went back outside and disposed of the arachnid. The sensations I started getting across my foot and then up my leg was quite interesting. I went to work, and as my day went on, I experienced nausea, shortness of breath and numbness in my throat. I probably should have stayed home. The next day the numbness in the throat remained, but the pain had greatly diminished.

I got nailed twice in the toe. Unbelievable pain. Made the veins in my legs bulge out. 3 days later the toe still hurt.
