What people have to understand is yes, jordan did go up against better defensive centers than lebron, but jordan went up against illegal defense rules which basically meant the center had to stay within their man until jordan was basically already in the air. How is mourning supposed to block a shot when he’s forced to stay by his man? In todays nba, zone defense allows for less dominance in the paint which is one of the reasons I believe past superstars who dominated the paint; jordan Shaq David Robinson hakeem etc wouldn’t dominate todays nba.
