Ответить2pac favorite song 😢
ОтветитьSo long ago, soo beautiful!😢❤
ОтветитьI remember this song playing on the radio in 1972
ОтветитьReminds me of by by miss American pie.
ОтветитьBeautiful ,beautiful song ,beautifully sung.
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful song 💕 poetry
ОтветитьI miss actual talent like this.
ОтветитьThey don't write songs or sing song like this any more it's so sad the talent is gone or at least unseen and uninvited by a perverted world
ОтветитьIf there is one song that perhaps is meant to be the most beautiful ever, this masterpiece is a shining candidate.
ОтветитьSo young to write such a powerful song ❤❤❤
ОтветитьSo beautiful
ОтветитьVery beautiful singer this champion
ОтветитьMasterpiece of a song.
ОтветитьA beautiful song that paints a picture of an artist that perhaps felt the heart pangs of life too much.
ОтветитьI think this is a song that will be lost and found for a long , long , time .
Ответитьcanzone semplicemente divina! grazie DON MC LEAN Boris
ОтветитьDon matches the undefinable beauty of those paintings in his song. Absolute classic.
ОтветитьThis artist did that artist an honor. And he did it so incredibly well. Thank you, Mr. McLean!
ОтветитьMy fathers still listens to this song.
Ответитьi was much taken w/this song as a teen......still
ОтветитьRead your interview in Guitar player Don. Rest assured as a former professional guitarist from Maryland and a current guitarist primarily on my Martin OM1E if you read this comment I really appreciate your beautiful guitar work on this song. Like all well written songs it stands alone on solo vocal and acoustic guitar of course the production is terrific. I love Martin guitars also especially the smaller body models.
ОтветитьDon McLean captured the tragic life of Vincent van Gogh through his lyrics.
He was considered an outcast in his time for his works that did not conform to the accepted taste of European high society.
Just plain classic.
ОтветитьI never knew who was most important the artist or the songwriter I think I know they both were truly great artists
Ответить2 vans are aaaswesome while 1 not so good. Van Gogh and Van Morrison 👍 but Van Halen not soo much. Hick rock. In the details of destiny -the Universe speaks to us.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьDan McLean is a genius. Love his music!! ❤❤
ОтветитьDon McLean, one of the best voices in the 70s,Vincent and American pie will always be remembered forever, blessed to be one of his fans
ОтветитьThe LYRICS of this SONG tell us an unfortunate story of an Artist's Heart and Soul painted on a canvas that was misunderstood and underrated in his time and perhaps even up to this day...
ОтветитьIf Don and Vincent belong to the same generation , they would become best friend, and Vincent would not be ao lonely and would not have committed suicide
ОтветитьThose who do not see those do not hear, have chosen this of their own free will And God has made it permanent that they never will….😢
ОтветитьThe mona lisa of all songs, soo sad,you end your life this way.
ОтветитьThis song is so sad that I have no idea what to say''''.
ОтветитьVangogh was so wonderful because he never gave up on his own art. He was so true to himself. He REFUSED to make art for profit. He made his art HIS OWN. Truly the goal of any modern artist. He had a self-loyalty like no other. I envy his conviction in that. And so did McLean. It’s so nice to see people appreciate vangogh TRULY as an artist and not just romanticize his illness
ОтветитьWhen American Pie isn't even your best song is pretty impressive.
ОтветитьThey will.
ОтветитьOne of my all time favorite songs. Touches my heart
ОтветитьSomber, sad, hauntingly beautiful.
Ответить❤❤❤
