best war movie ever
ОтветитьMovie name please 🙏🙏
Ответитьthe randomness of war. not just running into another company while chasing the enemy but of course then finding Ryan when least expected. "Least expected" which is the whole theme, not just when getting killed in combat but in everything.
ОтветитьGreatest war movie ever filmed.
ОтветитьЭто только в фильме без потерь
Ответитьafter all these years i just noticed that Ryan, if this was nonfiction, would have been in Band of Brothers
ОтветитьGoosebumps man
ОтветитьIt's a good thing that was a tiny TINY element of the SS then. Pretty much all of Germany's best in the West were further East facing the British and Canadians. You guys lap it up with your well funded propa... sorry... Hollywood movies though.
ОтветитьShaky cam is an abomination against the eyes.
ОтветитьCrazy cus this looks like something out of Ukraine today
ОтветитьThis shit movie
Ответить我非常喜歡⋯這影片
ОтветитьNo return fire from the half-track after the first bazooka? There are twin MGs and multiple dudes inside....
ОтветитьSo were those three guys supposed to take out an entire half track by themselves?
ОтветитьI've watched this movie at least a dozen times, and I honestly don't remember this scene whatsoever. I swear I've been under some personal Mandela effect because I could've sworn that they didn't meet Ryan and his company until they got to the bridge that they ended up defending. Strange.
ОтветитьOnly problem with this scene is the 2nd SS ‘Das Reich’ Div was not in Normandy theatre of operations in June ‘44. Das Reich was moving up through Vichy France from Toulon June/July ‘44 being hit by partisan attacks the whole way. 2nd SS arrived in Normandy in early August for Monty’s Operation Cobra and the Falaise Gap. Spielberg should have done better homework. Only SS Div in Normandy June ‘44 was 12th SS Hitler Jugend.
ОтветитьDid the Americans have half tracks?
ОтветитьAnyone else hate that shaky camera bullshit as much as me? All this modern technology and studios still go "Fuck it! Who needs to actually see a film, amiright?". -_-
ОтветитьRyan getting ready to shoot with his bazooka still, looks like he lost his Garand rifle in the jump.
ОтветитьКапитан Миллер крутой .
ОтветитьTheir all like thats our boy we found him now we can go home
ОтветитьSpielberg wanted an “unknown actor” to play Ryan.
But Good Will Hunting , which was filmed after this, was released beforehand.
Once GWH became a success for Damon it was too late for Spielberg to get his wish.
Also, much like the GWH adlibbed scene where Robin Williams describes his wife farting in her sleep, Damon adlibbed the scene where he describes walking in on his brother having sex the night before he went off to boot camp.
I now know what FUBAR means
ОтветитьInteresting that the airborne bazooka team definitely would’ve seen the ranger patrol enter the field but chose to stay quiet, remain in ambush. Did they perhaps know the half-track was coming right that second and didn’t wanna spoil their ambush?
ОтветитьThis movie is hilarious how they portrayed the German soldier's like if they were dumb
No doubt the history is told by the winners even it it's not how actually really was
Who shoots the 3 remaining german soldiers coming out of the left-hand side of the half-track. Is it captain Miller, Easy company, or all of them?
ОтветитьI remember the day we shot that scene. Nobody knew who Matt Damon was and he was certainly one of the most pleasant and intelligent people I have ever met. What an experience that was
ОтветитьGives the order to “take the left flank” then ends up having to shoot 3 guys by himself with no one on the left flank… 🫡🇺🇸🙏🏽🥲
ОтветитьThis is just another stupid anti-German movie.
ОтветитьIt always gets me how long Ryan's group is right in front of us and I don't see them until they stand up. And I've seen this a half dozen times. I made a point of rewinding and watching it and now I can see the tops of their helmets and part of one's face. That was a great set up by the director. It's stunning for me when the guys stand up and they are under 30 feet away.
Ответитьryan was part of the easy company?
ОтветитьCool scene and superbly shot. I have to imagine though that if it had been real life, those guys probably wouldn't be standing around all bunched up exchanging pleasantries... you don't know if there's a platoon of German infantry right at the heels of that halftrack. Everyone would be down, alert, listening and watching out for more enemy, pulling security (assuming the rest of the squad already cleared the halftrack and immediate area of live Germans while Capt Miller was talking to the airborne guys). If there's one German, there'd be more nearby. That could have been the lead scout vehicle of a column.
ОтветитьThe 101st were behind the half track. Why didn't they soot the 2 germans
Ответить🇺🇸👈🎥👈👎
ОтветитьGerman infantry just tore out those woods without at the very least glassing that open field. Goes to show that it’s so easy as humans to become content. We’re actually very adaptable.. allowing us all be come complacent.
ОтветитьLook at the bright side, you found Ryan.
ОтветитьI never fought in any conflict so I can't say f--k all except this is a damn good movie.
ОтветитьHalftrack scene introductions..."James Francis Ryan?" the look on everyones faces
Ответить2nd SS. Hope that these were the guys who murdered the villagers in Oradur (sp?)
ОтветитьUsa
ОтветитьBullshitmovie
ОтветитьGreat movie, fantastic effects, and just in case you didn't see the movie, I highly recommend it.
ОтветитьEasy company
ОтветитьSuper film 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьEfsane bir film.kahrolası amerikalılar boktan tarihlerini iyi pazarlamayı çok iyi biliyorlar.
Ответитьbro the fkn sound design in this is insane
