I really want to disconnect my music listening from my phone to an ipod and referenced this video, thanks for the info! Bought a 5.5 gen ipod and plan to iflash and battery upgrade!
ОтветитьThe 7th Gen iPod Classic is missing here...
Ответитьlol when you say you full laboratory on 80gb I have 8tb of flac music I can fill my iPod classic 160gb so easily
Ответитьbro drinked too much caffeine but i like the video
ОтветитьI have an iPhone 13 mini, with minimal stuff.
ОтветитьI revived a 5th gen 30GB with a iflash solo and a new battery
Ответитьdamn i was so hyped until i realized i just bought a 6th gen ipod :(
ОтветитьThis was a great video! Very informative and educational in regards to people that are looking to purchase an iPod today. Trying to get away from being on the phone so much and purchasing products that just focus on and do one thing. And they do it very well. I’ve been checking out the fifth and seventh classic generation of iPod. Thank you again for this video.
ОтветитьI use an iPhone 3GS as my music player.
ОтветитьI've had a nano 3rd gen fatboy in my car since I bought it new back in 2010 and use it every day for about 1 hour. Still working great and not seen any battery expanding screen issues yet. I was given a nano 4th gen tallboy which had a dead battery so I replaced it (30 years arcade game repair experience but still very challenging!) and so far it's been going well, although this one just sits on a shelf now unused.
ОтветитьI like you, but the whole "talking with your hands" thing is SO annoying. Please stop.
ОтветитьGreat Video!
ОтветитьMy first iPod was the 3rd gen Nano. I think I still have it somewhere... But yeah it lasted me a long time. I stopped caring about it once I got the iPod Touch 4, which was around 2012. Lasted me very well.
The form factor of the gen 3 Nano was fine for me since I was a child at the time, my hands were smaller so the size of the nano was pretty big for my hands. I can tell though it'd be tough now that I'm an adult lol.
Where's iPod touch ?
ОтветитьI love the nano 3rd generation. And easier to open. Bad there is no memory upgrade possible
I get a mini gen 2 the next days then memory upgrades (good it is a compact flash interface) and perhaps a bt mod.
Today iTunes from Windows store download and install the driver on the plug in the device.
Meanwhile Creative Labs has replaceable batteries and aaa. All run till this day
Ответитьgot an ipod nano 5th gen for Christmas when I was 10 and I absolutely loved that little guy! i remember me and my friends recording "movies" with the camera at sleepovers and playing brick breaker under my desk in middle school! good times
Ответитьfor me functionally only the bluetooth nano makes sense, but I have some of the others just for nostalgia!
Ответить🫨🪇
ОтветитьAnother thing folks might not know is the 1st gen could be mounted as an external hard drive on a Mac!!!!
Ответитьi like you a lot thank you for the video
Ответить"Im never going to fill 20 gigs" me a child durring this time with nearly 100 gigs of music
ОтветитьI myself have a 20+ year old iPod nano 3rd gen and have been using it severly when I was young. I got back to it in recent years and have been charging it once every few months to listen to music on it and luckily didnt get any battery swelling.
Ответитьloved my green ipod nano <3 still somewhere at my parents house. covered in little stickers lol.
ОтветитьI'm also a runner and love my 3rd gen. and have had several. Also washed a couple and brought them back to life with a bath of WD-40. One annoying change they made though. You used to be able to load a bunch of songs from itunes and before you ejected the device you could sort by title and that sort would be maintained. Now, however, you can do that all you want but the device self-sorts by artist. That bugs me. I wish I could change back to how it used to be.
ОтветитьThe 4th and 5th gen nano’s are in my opinion the best looking iPods they are so beautiful and the 6th gen i remember people using it like a watch was so weird lol

ОтветитьI 🖤 my iPod Shuffle 3rd Gen 4GB in Black. Bought new in 2009, recently tested and got 16 hours of battery. Daily driver again after many years 🙏
EDIT: I made this comment before you shit all over my iPod 😂🖕
Can you remake the video with your hand in it. It is too distracting.
ОтветитьDoes iphone se 1st generation dac works good ???
ОтветитьThe only Apple product I’ve never owned bcos I couldn’t afford it back then 😂 I used the cheap MP3 player ones til the mobile phones can play music.
ОтветитьToo bad they didn’t make a Bluetooth Shuffle
ОтветитьThe ipod shuffle 4th gen is perfection! I've been running with my for years. In my opinion, it's the only true hands free mp3 player out there. I have a special cheap pair of headphones (by elecom) that the device can dock onto. The way that the minimal buttons are used is very intuitive and well thought of. I hope mine lasts forever. You failed to mention the best parts of this gen versus the older models, like voice feedback.
ОтветитьThe modern phone is a distraction. I want to go to music shufle and forget. I have about 140 gb of music. Also when jogging i just want to carry a pod because messing with phone while running is impossible and phones are big and bulky. Backpackin and hiking is best to keep the phone charged and not use up battery life on music and podcasts. We use our phones as search gps which uses up a lot of battery life. It would actually be nice to also have a seperate thing for gps mapping on alltrails ect.. and seperate camera so while hiking my phone can be on airplane mode and saving battery life. Also good to have phone put away safe in a pocket just in case of emergency or fall. Come to think about it id probably have a seperate no bells phone as well. The phone is robbing us of our lives.
Ответитьcan we get a new guide for 2025 pls dankpods inflated the prices 💀😭🙏🙏
ОтветитьI have an Ipod nano 7th gen that went through a wash cycle and the screen went out, luckily it still works by connecting it to the USB port in my car and gets picked up as an ipod! so I can still use its 16gb of memory!
ОтветитьGot me an iPod Mini with a new battery coming in soon! As well as a 2nd generation iPod Classic and a 6th generation classic with a new battery and backplate coming in very soon! I love my 2nd generation to death and it lasts WAY longer than any of my others!! I just love having a dedicated music player! I've been thru the Walkman with the cassettes, DiscMan, MiniDiscs and now to the iPod! Wish me luck!!
ОтветитьI just recently bought a 7th Gen classic. Gonna be a pain to get into but I got it at a decent price with a dead drive. I'll be replacing the shell anyway so I'm not too concerned. I just really want that metal front
ОтветитьHow much for a 7th gen iPod classic
ОтветитьI have 2 Flash Modded iPods I use on a daily basis and I love them. 🙂 I have a Blue 256GB 7th Gen iPod Classic, and a 128GB iPod Mini. I had an old 80GB Black iPod Classic back in 2008, an iPod Shuffle in 2004, two iRiver H10 20GB MP3 players in 2005 and in 2007, Sansa Fuze MP3 Player in 2011, Sanza Fuze+ In 2011 as well, and waay before my ipod shuffle I was using CD Players, cassette players and micro cassette players. But in all honesty, while almost everyone was moving away from iPods and MP3 players, I couldn't stand that bullshit and laughed at everyone for it. What was the point of having everything all in one, when you're constantly being interrupted by phone calls, texts, facetime calls, paying for subscriptions no one ever needed in the first place? 🤷🏼♂️ I still have the first movie I ever bought on iTunes back in 2007! Back in the day, I was listening to music 24/7 and still do most of the time. Still without any interruptions. I had backups for my backups incase my battery for my MP3 player or my iPod died. Limitless music 🙂
ОтветитьBack when innovation was around. Now everyone just gets the same looking phone every year no more new designs or multiple designs everything is cookie cutter now in tech.
ОтветитьHow much for the 3rd generation nano?
ОтветитьThey still look futuristic now in 2025. I have the 6th gen in red & “just works”😊
ОтветитьI have trembling hand too
