Thank you a lot for this Secret , respectfully and best regards for your precious time helping us to do better video , Roland Tan from Paris France
ОтветитьThanks for this amazing tripod hack, mate!
ОтветитьYou can use only AF and not MF. If you mount MF you move all frames. You don't have a counterweight.
Ответитьi was painfully staring at a 150 dollar dubious glidecam in my amazon basket when i found this. i am absolutely blown away (my wallet says thanks)
ОтветитьEverytime I come back to your channel I learn great stuff! I bought the Vanguard VEO 204CB tripod about a year ago! I barely use it but I got it because it was a carbon fiber tripod for about $50! I figured I could use it for lights or holding modifiers or something and haven't really touched it since I got it! You just Rocked the best reason I spent that fifty bucks! It's perfect for a lot of shooting I do! Thanks Brandon!
Ответитьnotice he bends his knees while he walks something no one ever talks about and is actually everything you need to do. you don't need a tripod for this just bend your knees while you're walking and do not fully extend the knees when youre taking ur next step. Your body IS the gimbal. You're welcome no need to waste 7 mins on this vid.
ОтветитьThat's a very useful tip. Thanks. Creativity is so awesome 👍
ОтветитьHey bro! Can I do this with a selfie stick?
Ответить💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
ОтветитьThanks man ! Amazing idea . Cos I do not have IBIS on my little M6 Mark II
Ответитьgreat stuff!
ОтветитьTried it. It works!! Thanks so much.
ОтветитьInteresting trick. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьExcellent idea
ОтветитьGenious
ОтветитьWhat if you enable all 3 axis follow, then lock the gimbal in sport mode with maximum sensitivity? Would that be able to emulate a handheld shot? Sometimes there just isn't time to transition between a gimbal and this setup
ОтветитьThank you this helped me so much 🙋❤️
ОтветитьWhen I see amazing shots done with amazing rigs I say “duuuuuu”. When I see amazing shots with cheap hacks I give respect.
Ответитьthis is so helpful thanks bro!
Ответитьу меня был когда-то дешевый механический стабилизатор, работал так-же, но был намного компактнее и удобнее (тянуть штатив на вытянутой руке, то еще чудо).
ОтветитьBest advice ever out if all I've looked at for gimbal alternative. Well taught.
ОтветитьFantastic! Thank you!
ОтветитьOne of the only videos that hits this topic perfectly. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьBriliant, I'll use this technique Today!
ОтветитьThis trick was everything it promised to be. Extremely creative use of a tripod, real reduction in the distracting camera shakes, and I got strange looks when I was walking around the house! 10/10 would recommend.
ОтветитьWith the same setup you could just hold on the 2 tripod legs (maybe extend a bit furter) and have a smoother motion
Ответитьwow lovely
ОтветитьYou’re a genius, will be trying this soon.
ОтветитьGreat idea!
I have you to thank for that.
Ibis is a shame on many camera !
Ответитьkinda like a make-shift glide cam
ОтветитьI go further I mount my gimbal with DSLR under tripod and use it while walking. It’s a tripod with gimbal hanging upside down, yes you need tripod with removable head that flips, mine is Slik Pro 3way. It’s total transformer.
Ответитьbruce lee's love child.
ОтветитьLove this tip! Im just getting in to cinematic film making so im still exploring. Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьYou are the boss . awesome lesson for everyone..god bless you
Ответитьlove this video so much man, watched it so many times
ОтветитьThis doesn’t seem to work on my Benro tripod. The top two legs immediately folds down as soon as I pick up the third leg and lift the other two top legs off my shoulder.
ОтветитьWow. Great technique. Thanks for sharing. I just subscribed.
Ответитьcan we all appreciate the colors, do you have a lut pack?
ОтветитьThis is brilliant and has saved my short film. Thank you.
ОтветитьGenius.
ОтветитьThank you so much, this works really well! I've previously tried using an extended tripod as a kind of shoulder mount, but when walking with it I had it on my shoulder and - just like you said - the vibrations from the walking were transferred over to the camera, and it was shaky as all hell. I never thought to balance it and hold it in the air, really great idea!
ОтветитьThis is great! Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьExcellent tip, Brandon. I was hoping you would include a footage or two with image stabilization enabled. I wonder the difference.
Ответитьthanks for the awesome tips
ОтветитьHow did you manage to get the lower angle shots?
ОтветитьThat's so freaking cool. Thanks, Brandon!! I always love your videos man?
Haha, I wonder if the same can be applied for a point and shoot camera like the RX100 or ZV-1 series with a smaller tripod or handle
Legs of my tripod don't open enough :(
