This company are liars and thieves, they have stolen from me. I brought a HyperX Alloy Elite RGB Keyboard , it had the ability to be able to setup individual profiles with per key colour for games.
HyperX removed this feature which they used to promote the product.
They have now shut down their E-Mail service and do not respond to messages passed through their bot chat interface which they are basically using to screen calls so they don't have to deal with the angry masses they have created.

I wouldn't cross the road to pee on someone from HyperX if they were on fire.

I just got this keyboard for 60€ on black friday sales and I absolutely love it
I had a G512 with clicky switches before
I love how quiet it is compared to blue switches and how smooth red switches feel

Best deal ever

I have this, best keyboard I've ever used. I have the red. They sound almost as clicky as Cherry MX blue but are faster than Cherry MX reds.

I have a question. I have read on amazon, that the bottom aluminium plate is just glued on the "pcb" with adhesive or doublesided tape. Is it true, because if it is it doesn't make much sence for me and can you take it off easiely because if you can it is worthless for me.

These switches are great, until they fail (AND THEY WILL FAIL) the switches are SOLDERED TO THE BOARD!!! That means you can't just swap them out with replacements... and on top of that, YOU CAN'T BUY THE SWITCHES anyway. so once a key stops working, you have to throw the rest of the keyboard away.

Sound wise it seems more like my Cherry Red based Logitech which is a good bit quieter than your Corsair.
Just ordered one for my niece during Prime Day

In order to completely transfer the changes to the keyboard, while the program is open, go to Task Manager in Windows and kill the HyperX software process.

*If the process is not there, open the program again, go back to Task Manager and close the process.

This may be a bit of strange (dumb?) question. But I'm new to this whole keyboard thing, and any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. In my native language (german), there are certain letters that don't exist in the common English alphabet (ä,ö,ü). Normally this isn't an issue, as I can just go with the widely used DE-QWERTZ layout Version, that is generally offered by most big tech companies. Unfortunately, this particular keyboard seems to only be available in the US-Layout. Luckily enough though HyperX does indeed sell matching keycaps, with the german characters that are so crucial to communicating properly for me.

Now the big question. If I just put on the DE-Keycaps instead of the regular ones, will it be able to output all of the particular, non-english characters, or do I have to do any further modifiying, like reprogramming them (if so, how?), or is, what I'm trying to do futile in the first place?

Once again sorry, if what I'm asking is very obvious or stupid, but as I already mentioned, I'm new to this, and couldn't find any clear answers through the means of googling. I would be thankful for any sort of advice!

i got this keyboard, it is awesome. if you are looking for a keyboard that is not breaking the bank and super competitive, perfect keyboard. The keyboard is also quiet as well unless you put your whole body weight on it. It is definitely worth it. I am hyperx fan boy.

Will this be a better choice than Corsair k70 mk.2? They are nearly the same price if I add wrist rest and PBT keycaps.

switch housing being red and not transparent is a deal breaker for me
I was really looking to get this but damn, that sounds like a small issue but its not
It basically halves the color options because any light color that doesn't have a red accent is gonna look weird

I have bought the keyboard and I am writing with it right now actually, the keyboard is very well made but the lighting software part is very true, it's not just his sample, there is a problem with the software and they should fix it, otherwise, I really recommend this keyboard, its ready good at writing and gaming, I use it every day, I just came on this video to see another perspective of this keyboard and maybe help someone else pick a good keyboard, I am not crazy about keyboards and this is my first keyboard over 20$, but it is the best investment I have ever made and since I bought this keyboard, I have not found any competitor for it.
