The Arbiter and the Prophets have such great voice actors.

"Tartarus... The Prophets have betrayed us."

I love this exchange. I can't say for certain, but in my mind, up until this exact moment, he was holding out hope that he was wrong. That the great journey was still possible. You can see the pain in his eyes as the thousands of years of dogma are washed away and he accepts the truth. Tartarus on the other hand, also appears to recognise it. He feels doubt for the first time, but either is blinded by the power he has been given, or believes he has come too far to stop now.

the fact that blur studio translated every scene exactly as they were shows how ahead of the game bungie was when it came to that cinematic feel. this is a cinematic game, one that does not take player agency away when it comes to the cool fights.

also what a fantastic story design choice to let us as play as the arbiter and seeing his character go through that arc. it was super risky but jason made it work and it was superb

I wonder why they made the elites look so good in this game but look like garbage in halo 4 and 5.

Everyone these days say that RDR2 has the best video game story, and that Arthur is the best video game character. While they’re great I think Halo 2 and the Arbiter might just hold that title instead. The fact that he was willing to forgive Tartarus after everything he and the brutes did to him and the elites, shows how much conviction and humility he possesses. His fantastic arc only continues to expand in Halo 3. Even though this video only contains arbiters scenes, it genuinely feels like it’s own movie, and every second is enthralling.

8 yrs already? Im getting old. So much nostalgic and happiness during this time.

as much as 343 ruined this game, they really nailed it with this anniversary game. (the halo 4 engine could’ve used work though)

The Zootopia Gameplays also have ended. No species mixing with species. I have no idea, what goes on in other planets. At this point/stage, given this still ongoing SimCity simulation/experiment/dimension/gameplay: Any situation of humans like this planet, in other planets, any contact needs to be as a same species. Oversight from above, from some sort of mother spaceship, etc., can possibly still be by the seeder extraterrestrials, etc. But any contact, interaction needs to be as a same species. Example: the Star Trek franchise, depicting also Zionist/666/Reptilian/Dragon/Baal species together with Humans, has been cancelled/ended. No species mixing with species, and contacts, interactions need to be as a same species. Hence no Zootopia Gameplays in the planet/any planet. They can all be told that there are/exist other intelligent life, outside of the planet, and also of not the same species.

I know this is a small niche but it bugs me that the arbiters larger shoulder pice is on the wrong side if he is right handed it should be on the left side for when he is shooting.

“I am already dead.” Man the Arbiter is relatable. Despite being obviously alive, I just feel dead inside.

So many quotes within this game gives me goosebumps but nothing like what guilty spark said that can top. The simple "Died, as planned". A few words to dismantle their entire belief.
