The urban ibis, Thoth, only mingles with kookas, magpies, crows, butchers, pee wees, minors and currawongs at my place. And he loves the palms 🌴 born local, lives local. I’ve known him for five years. Where can I send his feathers?

I remember when an international university student was describing a bird which she did not know the name of. She called it "the garbage bird" and we all immediately knew what they were talking about. O_o;

There is quite a large population of Ibis at Sweeney Park in Petrie, on the North side of Brisbane. They nest in the palms and larger trees near the entrance to the reserve, by a long billabong.
