Great vid.
ОтветитьGreat informative video. Clearly spoken.. with clear instructions. I wish I would’ve watched this yesterday. I bet I would’ve ran a chainsaw a lot less today. Wasn’t any large trees, but still. Learned a lot. Thank you!
ОтветитьChaps!
ОтветитьIf you don’t have that rope puller just double up those wedges (stack them on top of one another) and get to wackin! Just watch the top on those dead trees!
ОтветитьHi FarmCraft, thankyou once again for a great video. I think I saw one of your others (or this one, I forget) awhile back. I've been cutting trees for awhile but I wanted to watch your video again as a refresher before I cut this big dangerous oak in my yard. The direction of the fall is about 90degrees from the lean. I like your meticulous step by step approach- it just reinforces it when I visualize my procedure in my mind... thanks!
ОтветитьYou explain this and illustrate it so well, making clear WHY the various mistakes can cause problems. Doing so makes it unlikely to forget it. Well done!
ОтветитьI THINK CAUSE IT HAD AN ARM THE OTHER WAY, SO IT ADDED OPOSITE FORCE. BUT NICE JOB! SMART!
ОтветитьGood traching! I didn't have the dlightest idea!
ОтветитьGreat video Sr
Ответитьchainsaws always scare the crap out of me and i have to cut some small trees behind my house. really glad this was the first video that came up 😊
ОтветитьAwesome video.
Ответитьlove this... been using chainsaws for decades, but finally actually read a manual and noticed this hinge cut in a diagram... this vid shows why perfectly
ОтветитьIf you push in the opposite direction will it go that way ?
ОтветитьThanks. I'm sure this video prevented a lot of grief and misery and will continue to do so in the future.
ОтветитьThe "chair" most fun cut.
ОтветитьI will make this a lot easier for you, Just make the final cut at a 45-degree angle and the tree will have a backstop and you will not need a wedge or a henge.
Ответитьwhen I used a pulling rope in my mother's long but narrow garden, I fixed a "ballast" weight in the middle of the rope. So the pull force lasted a second longer when the tree started to bend. I think it helped a little.
ОтветитьThanks for the great video
ОтветитьNever used a wedge falled hundreds of evergreen trees dead ones for fire wood, never had problems
ОтветитьI am getting hook on the physical and mental discipline involved in felling a tree. You have taught me a great deal
Ответитьvery nice instruction!
ОтветитьОтличное видео, все четко подано, рассказано. Объяснения с примерами. Наверное, парикмахерское кресло, потому что может оказаться последним бритьем бороды. Удачи в спиливании деревьев.
ОтветитьYou almost felled me off my chair too with those jokes! 👏😂
ОтветитьWow, when you pulled the camera up showing us the bar angle, I literally gasped at how beautiful your land is. ❤
Ответитьafter watching this im ready to cut my trees down and save me thousands of dollars
ОтветитьThat was excellent. Best video I have seen on the subject thus far.
ОтветитьI believe trees should be felled using non violent methods.
ОтветитьI feel like I avoided a lot of injuries by watching your video, thanks !!!
Ответить"If this tree had any weight to it it would fall over right now, but it doesn't." Can anyone please explain why this isn't nonsense?
ОтветитьTom Hanks cuts down a tree.
ОтветитьExtremely helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьJust wanted to say thankyou, I've watched plenty of these videos so I could safely drop trees on my property but I feel like I really understand the reasons for why to cut it that way aswell as the consequences
ОтветитьI've dropped at least 100 over the years on my property with only knowing the basics. Thank you so much for this video and a definitive guide for the future. Takes some of the anxiety out of dropping the big ones for me.
ОтветитьLove the simple dos and don'ts. Learned a lot. Still scares me every tree I take. Guess that's healthy?
ОтветитьTQ so much bro, your tutorial very helping me. I love and appreciate you. 😍😍👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьA good informative video - thank you.
ОтветитьGrateful for this information. I'am watching guys cut trees down very near my camper. Scary to watch
Ответить1322 Your back cut sucks. Buy a small magnetic level
ОтветитьThese assholes that make saws need to include a level in the case (extra 29 cents) Never happen
ОтветитьThis is a good technique for felling trees. I'd recommend nylon straps and appropriate wench over rope as fibers can snap.
ОтветитьOnly thing I'll add is when you make your bore cut, dont cut out through the back. Cut almost all the way through then pull out and come in through the back.
Sometimes, if you cout out through the back, the tree will bust off down to the ground and it can take the saw with it. Leave 2" or so for a trigger and when you're ready, cun it from the back to release it.
Also, I dig the cutting attire. Just my style.
Very good explination of hinge.
ОтветитьEchoing other, I've watched tons of chainsaw and tree cutting on YT. Your videos (this one and the 40min chainsaw one) are hands down the best! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much. I am a novice and will practice with small trees first. Great instructional video!
ОтветитьYOUR NATCH IN NO GOOD .......ALWAYS DO ANGLE 45 DEGREE BEFORE FLAT CUT AM A QUÉBEC LUMBERJACK GO LEARN HOW MAKE A NATCH BEFORE SHOWING ON INTERNET
ОтветитьThe wedge and back cut should be even. . The horizontal cuts are the same and the tree easily falls.
Ответитьwhat is barbershoping?
