Great review! Is there separate attachment for rug and carpet? Because I have hard floor but carpet on stairs and rugs in different areas 😅

Absolutely appalling product. A great idea and works well to begin with but when you start getting hair stuck in its four tiny wheels you end up cursing the day you were born when you try and clean them with needles and tweezers. Those tiny caster wheels need a radical rethink.

Fro rust price I buy regular, enough to find from Miele, AEG, Bosch.

Great for pet hair!

The omniglide proves that AW doesn’t matter on hard floor.

Are the tool heads interchangeable between Dyson Micro 1.5kg and Dyson Omni-glide?

I bought this solely to pick up dust, dog and cat hair from our wood floor. It works great! Easy and quick.

EDIT - returning mine after two weeks. Definitely not worth the money. I have had a corded Dyson vacuum for 5 years and LOVE it. Shocked that both vacuums are from the same company. Very disappointed I wasn’t my time on this vacuum.

Would love it if Dyson made a cordless vacuum that can stand on its own! I can't tell if this one does.

Is it worth it to keep an Omni Glide if we already have a V15?

This vacuum is pure garbage. If you like stopping every thirty secons to clean the rollers and then to clean the filters this piece of garbage is for you,

Oh man, I can see it now...the ultimate modular Dyson (v11 style of course) with hot swap batts, swapable omni heads/soft rollers with no sensor option, reinforced heads for when you ram corners, and of course ALL CLEAR ATTACHMENTS with light transmittance!!!!!!

I've been attaching hcri lights to my dyson for awhile now and dream of several such upgrades/innovations on the tools I use often.....but that fiber optic style led on the crevas tool is way more dyson than my mods!!

Vacuuming requires all this maneuverability around table and chair legs, into right spots, etc. Thank you Dyson….THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!!

I finally pulled the trigger. Omni glide is the real deal. I’m so happy about the purchase. It’s so easy and light to use, making vacuum as frictionless as possible.

Actually works well on low shag carpets.

How bad is the tangling? my vacuums always have big hair tangle problems.. we have a Shark Rocket cordless and a Roomba s9+ but would love to have something like this Omni-glide instead of the old Rocket. Battery life at 20mins is fine so thats not a huge concern.. hair tangle and cleaing is

I've bought this one. The problem that after short time the 4 small wheels are getting dirty(mainly hair) and it cannot be cleaned. Then it is no longer usable because it is no longer "gliding".
Do jot buy this if you have hairs

Looking to upgrade to Dyson... I have an 800 sq ft house with only hardwood and tile... This looks to be the perfect vacuum for me.

That battery life is atrocious lol.
Imagine how bad it’ll be in 2 years time.

I have a combination brush/crevice tool on my upright shark lift away and I HATE IT. the brush slips down too easily to be useful and gets in the way (can't be removed) when trying to vacuum crevices like between the seats of my car.

What would be a second or third choice of a Dyson vacuum for mostly hard wood floors?

Dyson makes incredible technology ruined by its cheap plastic. Seals will just randomly fall off, and everything is just cheap. Loving my LG a916

Can we use it on engineering hardwood floor?

always wonder can they add a small blade attachment to the axil. That way it can cut hair.

I have one and like all the parts mentioned here but:

1. Battery life really isn’t much more than 20 mins, especially on max.

2. Getting pet fur out of the vac tank is a super PITA.

That said, it’s great for wood floors, ceiling corners, and baseboards.

Reminds me of the "swivel sweeper"

can i buy the omni glide for the v8 ?

This is a bit random, but can you recommend a small appliance for cleaning tiled small bathroom floors? I've actually stopped using a mop, and am instead just getting down on my hands & knees, and simply spray & wipe with cloths. Most of the "dirt" is actually just matted on dust & fibres. A full blown floor cleaner is overkill.

Already solved this problem.

All they need to do is add 2 external suction which sits higher on each roller which will suck up the majority of the bigger/smaller pieces and then the roller would just pick up the stuff the external suction couldn’t.

Add a wall hanger which plugs into the wall and hang the product on the wall.

Did the video say how long it took to charge? Is that because it has small rechargable batteries? I have hair down to my waist almost and my hair constantly falling is just as bad as a pets.
