Appendicitis and appendectomy procedure at Cook Children’s

I had this surgery my first surgery ever... was veryyyyyyyyyy painful 😥😭

i have pain in my lower right abdomen and its mild pain but it kinda got worse so im gonna go to the hospital im just hoping i have early stages appendicitis so i can get it removed normally and that i have no infection

Just got my surgery done today at cooks children’s and it was a nice experience, the staff was nice and their are many programs to have a fun time while waiting for the surgery or after. I got to go home the same day and I’m currently working on the pain that happens after surgery. It feels really sore around the belly button and the shoulders but I’m taking Tylenol so it’ll feel better.

Who else when they got home from the hospital they decided to search up appendix cause I did but in the hospital I was lucky I didint have the appendix

I just want to ask if this is appendicitis. Here it goes, on December 2019, i felt itchy in my lower right abdomen then a few days past by, there's some red spot like sunburn on that same area where i felt itchy, the itchy i felt comes from the inside. By January 1, 2020, i felt pain on my lower right abdomen, so much pain and also i've noticed an uneven size on my oblique muscle, it just like swollen on the area where i felt the pain. But after few days, it just dissappeared and pain were also dissappeared. For now, sometimes i felt a small pain on the same area but not much pain last year. I'm so worried if this is Appendicitis. 🙁

Can someone tell me if I’m okay!? I don’t get any of those symptoms like fever etc. I only get pain on the right side of my stomach and cramps! Is it an infection or appendicitis’s?

My appendix was on the middle of my stomach😳

I just had my Appendix removed after having Appendicitis for 3 months, They couldn’t remove it as it was stuck to my bowel so they would have to remove part of my bowel or go on antibiotics for 3 months and then I got it removed yesterday without having to get part of my bowel removed luckily.

Im scared.

The pain is terrible and I had to go to multiple hospitals until one said it was appendicitis. I was told that my appendix bursted as it was being taken out and I was lucky I got it done at the time. It took a couple of days to recover, but i’m good now :)

So my abdominal rlly hurt. My mother and me went in a hospital but there wasn't anybody im really scared😧

Is there any pain during the surgery?

My bellybutton hurts dont know if this could be why. I need help

I had appendicitis 4 days ago. I stayed at the hospital for 2 and a half days. They gave me a special medicine to make me sleep then they took out the appendix. I am at home now and I feel better now :)

i think i have appendicitis and i’ve had the pain for a couple days now but my whole family just says it’s cramps and i cant tell them otherwise

I have raptured appendix I though I was poisoned but it didn't God give me second chance of life..

I’m kinda scared right now. My stomach hurts in the bottom right, just like the video. I am getting almost like cramps, but they are getting worse over time. I got sent home today from school because I had a fever and my stomach hurt. I’m home alone and 12, and the pain is getting worse and more common.

My appendix was perforated or burst, but they still proceed to use appendectomy to remove it.

⛔I HAD THE OPERATION AND LET ME TELL YOU IT'S FAST AND RESULTS ARE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. ONLY PAIN YOU FEEL IS A LITTLE BIT OF SORENESS AFTER SURGERY, BUT THAT IS COMMON SINCE THEY DID SURGERY.IF YOU SUFFER FROM GASTRITIS IT COULD BE POSSIBLE SIGNS LEADING TO APPENDICITIS.

I had a swollen appendix and i wasn't able to sleep for over 24 hours. It was painful to have.

I'm feeling some strange pain right where it is located. But I am scared to be embarrassed in front of the doctor if it's not appendix...
