ОтветитьFirst listened to him in 2006 just as a I was graduating so it was a very bittersweet time for me and it was the best soundtrack for me at that time. And then just four years after discovering his music during a rocket ship of a career he had at the time he dies so arbitrarily in a car accident. One of the most tragic losses to music I’ve ever encountered. I hate to think of all the music we lost out on all these years
ОтветитьTribe called Quest vibe to me. Beautiful all the same.
ОтветитьNujabes is one of the deities of lo-fi. I was in high school when I first got tuned in to him, and that was over 15 years ago.
Ответитьgoat
ОтветитьJ dilla created and perfected lo fi hip hop instrumentals
ОтветитьHe's a fraud. They copied J Dilla
ОтветитьLies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies Lies
ОтветитьThis is a lie Asian's did nothing but copy, like they did with other forms of Black American music like Rock, Jazz, and yes even Classical music.
ОтветитьSTOP Using black people who were born in the 21st century to tell lies about Hip Hop and Black culture. Asians had no hand In creating and developing black American Culture.
ОтветитьThis is a lie, There are no Japanese 4 father's of hip hop. They all thought it was trash before it got cool and a lot of these Suckka Mc's and Dj's copied/ bit some black DJ's like J Dilla.
ОтветитьRip
Ответитьrest in beats Nujabes 🤟
Ответитьluv(sic) part 2. One of the top hip hop love songs
ОтветитьBro keep saying the name wrong.
ОтветитьSamurai Champloo, Nujabes and Shing02 are what got me into hip hop and lo-fi back in 2004. Thank you, KINGS!
Ответитьjingsang and tomppa are so goodddd
ОтветитьMF DOOM AND NUJABES, TWO KINGS RESTING IN PARADISE
ОтветитьWhy they don't make videos like this anymore?? Amazing content and memories
ОтветитьYou honestly cant listen to his music the same way again knowing what happened to him. Rip to a generational talent
ОтветитьNujabes is undoubtedly the father of Lo-Fi. He's the creator of his own style and the sole father of Samurai hi-hop. RIP
ОтветитьJ dilla, Nujabes, Fat Jon, Madlib, Flying Lotus: I grew up with Donuts and Modal Soul, it led me into beatmaking under the guise Gloam, whenever I have created, it was heavily influenced by all of them, I only created to pay homage and perfect the craft. I understand people say "style biters" but we want more and we can't have the originals continue to create. Beatmakers are like prophets, spreading the word of their progenitors in a respectful manner, we will never have them again, but those who try, allow us a taste of greatness we were once exposed to. Tragic how fate decided they had done enough, when they had so much to offer.
Ответитьboth dilla and nujabes invented lo-fi
ОтветитьNujabes and Dilla shaped my musical ear. 🐐🐐
ОтветитьI still remember so vividly the first time I heard Nujabes, it was a winter's night in Sydney in 2007, me and my friend were sitting in his car waiting to pick up some buds, my friend always had a much more refined taste in hip hop and when he played me luv(sic.) pt3 for the first time, it honestly changed the course of my musical interests forever. I loved shing02 on the track, but it was the beat that had me hooked. Needless to say, Nujabes has been on constant rotation ever since that winter nigh. Thank you Jun Seba.
ОтветитьAruarian Dance was master peace
Ответитьnew jobs
ОтветитьGoat ❤
ОтветитьSeba J and J Dilla RIP
ОтветитьI have no enemies ...😊
ОтветитьA very interesting and well researched video. And I like the calm way you presented the facts and that you got Nujabes' actual collaboration partners for interviews.
Thank you a lot for this.
RIP to an ICON.....nujabes 4eva
ОтветитьSahBabii put me onto Nujabes and I’m forever greatful that he did ❤️
Ответитьin a perfect world doom and nujabes would have dropped an album together
Ответить2 years ago I watched samurai champloo and that's how I discovered nujabes. He quickly became one of my favourite artists, his music will keep on living through his fans forever 💖
Ответитьwtd nujabes and j dilla are born same day same year
Ответитьno wonder why samurai shamploo was so iconic it were the soundtrack they were bangers
ОтветитьNujabes, and Dilla walked so lofi hiphop artists could run
ОтветитьStill underrated
ОтветитьRIP
ОтветитьNot really a known fact but Shinichiro Watanabe had mentioned at an anime convention that before Nujabes passed away, they were actually in contact and were planning on working together on another anime project, but the work for the project was scrapped after the accident.
ОтветитьThat’s crazy have Jinsang and tomppabeats in another playlist didn’t realise they were inspired by him lol
ОтветитьRIP you beautiful man
ОтветитьAmazing music
Ответитьnow it doesn't really matter but I think it's funny he pronounced it "nu - jah - bes" the entire video when everyone around him says that you pronounce it "nu - juh -bes". they even included the clip from substatial's song where he says everyone pronounces his name wrong. not important and doesn't take away from this tribute, just funny. rip my goat though 🙏
Ответитьjust found out that Nujabes is the guy who invented Lofi Hip-hop
Ответитьnujabes is such an amazing person
ОтветитьThis lo fi
