Just got Shieldguard. Saw him on another of your excellent vids. Watched this vid so levelled up to 40, ascended, equipped and lvl 2 Masteries ... tried him out and I get it, he's good 😁

If you're farming masteries for 1 champion why wouldn't you just use a team where every other champ is already at their max? They'd be able to kill the minotaur too, and the one you're farming for would get all the scrolls. If you farm for 4 champs at once you're getting them at a quarter the speed.

Why would you put food champs in mino? I use 4 champs with maxed masteries so 1 champ can get all the scrolls

This video is a frigging LIE, we all know Ash does ZERO minotaurs. Well maybe a total of 25 runs in his entire frigging career of RAID. Also I find it better and faster to just use 4 champions that you already fully mastered and then add in the 5th one where you actually want to farm masteries..

The new 2023 update he does not self heal until he's 50% now, at least he isn't for me. He does amazing for defense when maxed out and with high defense gear. Before the update he got me to nightmare for the first boss only. After the update he just does not survive no matter the gear

Nice video, though fail to mention must be 6 star ascended with 6 star gear. Doesn't work with 5 stars.

I really like Saurus for my campaign farmer. Easy 6 second 12-3 brutal. However I could only make this work with full masteries so I wonder if there is a way to deck Saurus out so that I can do the same thing without masteries

What are your thoughts on Sister Militant. She is the most accessible campaign nuker that can farm through hard. Useful to speed up the early run up to 6 stars on first couple of champions.

Your girl scyl is one you should already 6 star because of how good she is and can solo minotaur too, whats the point of 6 starring shieldguard if scyl is around...

Hey Ash, I know how much you love Shieldguard, so I thought I'd drop this comment. I may be a little late on this, but the new referral epic may give a little sneaky buff to Shieldguard, giving him a 20% chance to do his A2 multiple times in a row. gonna be great for FW but may also have uses for content such as this

I need to get shieldguard to 60. I only have armiger and I used to have him at 50 but then I used him to 6 star another champion

I like shieldguard a lot, but I don't have the gear to do this, I just use him in tank set to do damage and be a part of my team.
I was actually planning on 6 starring Saurus soon, because he has all AOE attacks and I was told he's the best campaign farmer.
Maybe shieldguard is better?

Not really, bcos you spend gems to get energy, spend time to grind...I would rather spend gems to instantly unlock masteries

Well I got 1 rare, but no Saurus or Shieldguard....

this guy can solo last boss on nightmare campaign? everytime I try he always one shots at least one of the two champs and they cant be rez'd

Shieldguard was my first campaign farmer thanks to an earlier Ash video, I believe. He is mad fun in many areas early - midgame. Up to spider 17 or so, he can get 7 turns in a row from all the crits. Late game I still use him occasionally. Never regretted I built him.

I don't know if Ash mentioned it, but you can farm Shieldguard from Deadlands (map 9) in Campaign in addition to getting him from mystery shards or market.

I know everybody hates her. I had crap when I started. So when I got dark athel.thought she looked good. Not so much. Tried farming with her. She solo'd all the way up to nightmare 2-2. Best time is 7sec on 12-3. Great farmier for someone starting out.

isnt it easier to save up your gems just buy the masteries , then use gems to buy energy for grinding level 15 of minotaurs dungeons for hours and hours , this game already so time consuming for a F2P

I love watching your videos. I'm recently unemployed and find a job is difficult but watching your videos always puts a smile on my face. Never change man, you are really doing a wonderful thing.

I'm a huge fan of Ash but I mean, it's been 2022, I'd really not suggest people invest into uncommon champions, especially early game players or F2P players. It's a huge wast of your resources, yes HUGE, cause it's not that easy to get a 6 star champion, requires time and resources. If by ANY chance you have a better option, don't ever try this.
I have played this game for like 2 years, and spend only a few. And by now I still regret for my investment for Shield Guard. And yes it's because I watched videos like this at that time that I was thinking ok it's uncommon and easy to build.
But after 6 stared Shield Guard I find him not much useful almost anywhere.(except early stages for FW) Cause you have too much FREE options in Barbarians (Scyl, Khatun, War Maiden) so you really don't need to build a Shield Guard. And I have to say it did delayed my progression.
And for nowadays you have more FREE options, even Simple without book can easily do much better than this guy, so if you don't have to, do not build him.

A team of 5 champs that you want masteries for, or 4 maxed champs and 1 you want to focus masteries for can do this just as easy..

Energy cost gems as well.....with as many runs as it takes to max out someone's masteries (170+) plus the time it takes for phone only users, it's not that much of a waste of gems, auto clicker folks might have a different calculation.

Seen him in the vault hiding and was wondering about him it is a good kit ...be great if stun gear would work for him! I use my gems up for champ rolls and I just started doing masteries for them one at a time by taking one out and replacing with one that doesn't have any because it just seems like it takes years to finish them. Might be a point about the great hall can't even use the dupe system with him so might not work as well until its filled in more. Great skills though.

I can tell you that I forgot armiger needs accuracy to until fire knight 13. So that's like 500k silver wasted on ranking poorly chosen items 😂... for 2 of them cuz they gave me Fat Gala Uugo and Hyria who shoulda be called Zelda?

Side rant, can you, plarium please stop putting 100 people in these 3 day events. Impossible to win
