I’ve got same bike in same colour …how do you get rid of the water streaks off the engine casing ?
ОтветитьI own a 883 Sportster, i recently test ride the nightster 975, wich is fantastic, the indian scout, the triumph scrambler 900...and two days ago the classic 350... Now I'm going to keep my Sportster and buy the classic 350. Yes, it's that good.
ОтветитьRoyal Enfields have been knocked by the bike press in the past, they are actually a bike that does " what you need" not "what you want" Hitchcocks motorcycles can supply tuning parts to release a bit more power so 70 mph is a bit easier and up the power by a third!! Then you have a bike that can give 100mpg and cruise on the motorway, why spend more than double on a Triumph? Or wait for the 650 RE Bullet!
ОтветитьThe old bloke says why have you bought an old man's bike. that's rich.
ОтветитьJust bought classic myself really happy with it,I had the same issue with the neutral light on but was in gear luckily sat on bike so saved it.
ОтветитьHonda CB350 is gonna kill this one !
ОтветитьThat a beauty !!!
ОтветитьI am convinced RE based these bikes on the old Suzuki TU250
ОтветитьLove this series! Also love the reason for buying!
ОтветитьI mean that's what bikes are for aren't they? They give you freedom. Lovely watch this. Cheers!
Ответить"older riders like in their 40's" He really stepped on his dick with that one!!! LMAO!!! I'm in my 70's and still going strong.. As the saying goes. "You don't stop riding when you get old, you get old when you stop riding"
ОтветитьThere’s a good amount of 20 somethings buying these here in Australia. I can see the appeal totally. It’s raw and characterful. Going fast isn’t everything that’s for sure. If it stirs emotions that’s the bike for you!
Ответитьlove these type of reviews
ОтветитьTHIS IS MY FAV COLOR OF THE CALSSIC 350 BUT NOW ITS NO MORE SOLD BY RE 😢😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьI don't think that's the new Classic 350 with J series engine. Anyways I am glad that finally some one is putting a review after owning and living with a motorcycle.
Can you do something similar with Super meteor 650 ?
RE is making Classic 650 based on the parallel twin they recently used in the Super Meteor 650. It has around 47 bHP. So the performance needs will be taken care of. Also, they recently launched the updated Himalayan 450, and it's great.
Ответитьvery good reason to buy , I would ust say if you can add a leg guard to it it would greatly help in case you fall . also .. the exhaust an actually melt shoes so careful with that .
ОтветитьRoyal Enfield classic 350 new model, with mnay changes introduction international.
ОтветитьI was not expecting that answer. Bless you both. It represents freedom and adventure and they really are charming bikes.
Ответить"Can I have a go?" The Royal Enfield Classic 350 owner will have a very different answer than most other bike owners.
ОтветитьThere's a strange, unspoken, self-inflicted restriction we put ourselves into. Sports bike guys feel that anything else isn't appropriate. Everyone does this. Scooters suffer from this. Perfectly good motorcycles, do everything a person may need it for yet, people want to be seen on a huge GS, commuting to work. Harley riders, same. If we could separate that part of our brain that cares what people think, what would we ride?
ОтветитьSo the funny thing about that false neutral incident happened to me as well. I own a Himalayan Scram 411 in India, cost me around 2.6L (about 2800 Euro). The side stand doesn't stop this from happening because you can start the bike in neutral in side stand and as far as the bike thinks, it's in neutral and stand position doesn't matter, so it just cranks it up, lurching it forward. After the first thousand odd KM or so, it is not happening anymore. But ya, I have heard multiple people on various forums/videos mentioning this and it's not isolated to one model.
ОтветитьRoyal Enfield is fooling everyone around the world with its 350s.. come to India and experience the only 'Honda CB350 Highness/RS' sold currently in the world since 2020 which rides, looks way better than the RE.. dont compromise with the RE..
ОтветитьThere comes a time when you cannot contort yourself onto a sports bike. Swinging your leg over the high rear-end and don't want to travel at warp speed....That time comes to all of us eventually....
ОтветитьThat's not old! Hahaha, I'd say the same, I'm 50 😀
ОтветитьRoyal Enfield classics are best back road bikes I've ever rode.
ОтветитьIts a beautiful looking bike with so much character.
ОтветитьLove this color
ОтветитьHow about the vibrations?
ОтветитьSaw this very bike and color but the rims and hubs were black with stainless spikes and that really looked sharp in my eyes. He added a cam, removed the decibel killer with a hole saw and had an air cleaner cover mod and it really woke the little 350 up from stock. These are showing up leftover for $3999.00 near me in Ct and that’s hard to beat
ОтветитьI love that 40's era look and the simplicity of the Royal Enfields. I already have a himalayan and am seriously considering a classic 350.
ОтветитьBe nice with a more appropriate, 650cc single😮
ОтветитьThe achievable top speed is 120kmph
ОтветитьWhy not consider a scooter? A honest question. We had a Suzuki Burgman 650 a very roomy and competent scooter. My wife found it impossible to get on my Vulcan 900 with its saddle bags and backrests. But with the Burgman she would step on and slide back to the pillion seat easily. Plus there was no apparent loss of power riding two up. As you are in GB you have more options for various brands and sizes of scooters too. Living in a place where anything but a heavy weight Harley is a social misstep does prejudice scooter ownership but when I beat every over weight middle aged beanie helmeted Harley rider from a light there was comfort in that. 😎 On the other hand as someone doing my own servicing and repairs a bike like this RE is to be treasured.
ОтветитьGreat story.....but come on Neevesy, what we all want to know is what bikes do you own??
ОтветитьThe “reborn” 350 is one of the most enjoyable bikes I’ve ever ridden. I briefly owned one and plan to buy another. Hopefully the new Bullet makes it to the States.
ОтветитьFunny how a bike in the middle of last century was described as grey porridge is now some sort of revelation.....how much is Indian Enfield paying ?
Ответить"It's worth more than the sum of its parts"
ОтветитьGift me one!
MCN please
This is not an old man’s bike it’s a bikers bike no gimmicks no fancy riding modes just man and machine
ОтветитьIf it had a kickstart this is what I'd get, but I'd rather have a used classic 500
ОтветитьI just made 10k on bitcoin and managed to convince the wife that this bike makes sense. Its slow so unlikely to kill myself, it has torque for the peak district hills, looks class and I can wear an open face helmet in the summer months. It's pretty much a done deal.
Not had a bike for 20 years and I never rode fast. I like the freedom.
Such a nice story, what a fantastic bike for you both
ОтветитьThe covers are metal my friend 😉
ОтветитьPity that you couldn't have put a mic on the other guy.
ОтветитьDaniel, you are a gentleman and a scholar! You are a true old soul! God bless you and your family! 👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat story, good lad, best wishes.
ОтветитьI like the design and this colour. My choice would be the brown one. 😊
Thanks for your honest review.
100 mpg is realistically possible.
