I have the same EXACT one. Past 2 hours I've been trying to take a picture but when I press the red button (shutter button) it makes a click noise and doesn't take a picture or anything? I have done everything the way it was meant to be done and it still won't take a picture

Eh, not entirely the same:
the original onestep had a slot for a flash, not built in and the battery was in the photo box itself, meaning you wouldnt have to worry about recharging at all. Also only later versions had zoom at all
