What buffs did you use

There is some information that in the upcoming 1.4.4 update, the Bewitching table buffs will last permanently until you die rather than being on a cooldown, so that's one thing for new players to note

His hands are too fast and long, I use speed potions with boots and a massive platform and they still manage to get to me

Scrublet pro-tip: If you want to mark off Biome Chests without risking the Torch God event, don't plant a big block of torches all around the chest. Instead, mark a spot right near the chest with a small amount of Torches (I'd recommend 10 or 12, but you can get away with as few as 7 if you know how.) that form a letter. I use 'H' for the Hallow Chest, 'C' for the Corruption/Crimson one, 'D' for Desert, 'J' for Jungle, and 'I' for Ice. These letters are easily visible on the map, and they can be used for almost anything in the game, like rare ores or those that you can't mine yet, locked Shadow Chests, the Lihzahrd Temple entrance, Plantera Bulbs, etc..
