This so sad reading I just came across by accident,or was it? I am in hospital awaiting a serious operation. I have been thinking of my husband and family. Thank you for this poem.

my wife of 54 years died last sept 2020 10 days after our 54th she had alzheimers for the last 5 yrs the last 7 month she did not know me speak eat was bedridden in our home she was my world my best friend lover mother of 7 a man could ask for the morning she passed I read this poem to her she had not looked at me smiled talked for 2 day the moment she passed she looked at me smiled and said love you and was gone .I miss her something awful but when I read this poem I feel a calmness come over me

Hello stranger from the internet, it's okay to be sad for a while if you've lost a loved one and miss them. But make sure to live a good rest of the life because that's what they would have wanted for you. Until you finally reunite, cherish the the good and bad memories you had with them and the special connection and bond you had and still have, because we're eternal beings temporarily experiencing consciousness. Death isn't the end, but just another part of being alive

Hello. I don’t understand fully what’s happened. But Mr Romano is NOT the original author of this literary work! I am the original ©️author. I am humbled and honored so many have found comfort through it. But recently discovering this misconception among the world (apparently) I fully intend to get to the bottom of it.

I just came across this poem from a Tik Toker who used it on their post. I am entering 2 years now without my husband and when I heard this I couldn't help but cry. This is exactly what I can hear in my heart him saying this to me.

My Aunt Mae passed away.. not recently, but still recent enough for me. Every day I miss her. She was everything to me, and like a second mother. I used to beg my mom to take me to her farm on the weekends so that I could spend time with her, watch the cows, play with the kittens, help her feed and water them.. I loved being on her farm with her. Every time my mom said we couldn't go see her, I would cry. I was a little girl then.. and when I would come home from school, she would surprise me with a visit. I was always so happy seeing her. She did this even when I was in highschool. Through all my years of growing up, she was a part of my life. When she had to go to the nursing home.. and as my family and I watched her wither away... I just.. I couldn't take it. I couldn't watch the woman I loved so dearly deteriorate in front of my eyes. My mother and father hated seeing her wither away too.. and in her final days... I...
I regret not seeing her. I didn't get to say goodbye.. I didn't get to tell her how much I loved her for the final time. I hate myself for that and blame myself for not telling her what I needed tol every single day. This poem helps ease some of the pain I feel, but I don't think anything will ever numb the sting.

I am only 22 yes old and this poem speaks so much volume I cry reading along to it every time not because I have lost someone dear to me but because I’ve lost myself and everything I stood for. Yes I’ve always realized this with my short time on earth but today was the day it finally hurt 😢

though this makes me cry as reminds me of my father who passed, I feel happy too. I know he lived a long great life and he was an older father so I knew i was always going to live many years without him. Though he taught me this, I will never fill the void, the love from him was pure father’s love. I hope heaven is everything he dreamt of, and oneday we will meet again.

My wife died from a drug overdose while I was in treatment. I hated myself forever but somehow I got through it. I went back to treatment right after the funeral and after a short relapse leading up to the wake and funeral. It's been a week since I completed the program. I have forgiving myself for leaving my wife in her addiction and even though she was supposed to meet me in rehab I've forgiving her to because, I can't spend my last moments on earth being mad at her. I'm committed to happy memories and inspirational feelings. I wouldn't of wanted her to feel bad, if it were the other way around, so with that, I love this poem...

I suddenly lost my husband of 43 years. He was only 63. I heard him saying these words of comfort to me.

I feel that there's my turn come & end...God only knows. ..if I go first. ...nobody is there to mourn for me... because I am not an important. ..but u must be there for ur dear people. ..they need u....there are lots of things to do & many of them waitingfor you. .. lots of people love u....still u r very energetic and active person. ..don't think in negatively. .be positive...the Heavenly Father bless you entire ur all life always. .. My husband of 32 years passed nearly 3 years ago and I just found this video. I cried as I watched it because my husband's name was David and it was like he was talking to me. A year after his passing, our daughter's boyfriend approached me to ask permission to propose to her. A year later they were married. It was a bittersweet day as we celebrated this union, but realized that her dad wasn't there. I'm sure this wonderful David who wrote this poem has written others, so I will be looking for them.

This brought up memories of my daughter. I wasn't expecting her to pass. How i wish she didn't and when she did it's was and still is lonely. Never imagined i would lose my beautiful daughter. She's such a huge part of me. I have been feeling lost without her until recently. I still feel lost but Heavenly Father sent a love of my lifetime which is truly incredible that have found my twinflame at the perfect time. Not only that, but my twin flame is super gorgeous, intelligent loved me and proves it. It's a miracle. Even i couldn't believe it but all my prayers have been answered.
Maybe you should pray, it worked for me it worked for you as well. Have faith & keep praying. Im going to include you in my silent prayers. I bet you'll see some kind of result. Blessings!🙏
