Content Controls in Word

Is it possible to keep content controls from changing on the next page? For instance, I have a one-page letter and want the name above the address and the "dear whoever" to be the same. I have that done. The problem is, on the next letter, it changes that too. I need that letter to go to a different person. Page break doesn't break the content controls apparently. Is it all or nothing?

When I print the document how can I make it so it doesn't print the content control that I put? Is that possible?

Hi Kelly. This was helpful. I came across a problem when using picture content control. Word somehow decided to flip some of my images left to right. I dont know why this is happening? It doesnt happen for all images.

All well and good, but how do you get rid of ALL the content controls in a document. GoogleDrive inserted one in every single line of a 400 page document. I can't go to each one to delete it individually. There must be some way to eliminate all of them in one fell swoop.
