Thanks for a great lesson. Another tool to add to your repertoire.
ОтветитьI aim that way also. It's more of a method than a system. I always tip not edges. Even when I use right, left & banks. Easy simple🎉
ОтветитьI think there was 20 commercials in this 20min video. insane. Not worth the bad advice.
ОтветитьWhat type of music business do you have Sir
ОтветитьWhat kind of butt are you using?
ОтветитьI can see the 3 points on the tip - center and the two edges - but have trouble with #4 & 5. Just not that good!
ОтветитьI hadn't been on a pool table in about a year until last Thursday-golf instructor and coach. I had been using the edge of the cue for aiming - left edge for cuts shots to the left and right edge for cut shots to the right. It worked ok except when I used English. More time on the table I would imagine. It was just very frustrating!
ОтветитьThat draw, b4 the 9. Was not so good. But good shootin!
ОтветитьI guess this would make more sense if I haven't been playing for 40 years. Now it's just getting a feel for it, and the cueball after. I don't even think I could explain how (since I learned this when I was like 8, on my own,) so good video.
ОтветитьSlightly misleading commentary. You don't want to aim the centre of the cueball at the contact point, you want to aim the centre of the cueball at the place where the centre of the cueball will be at the moment the cueball is striking the object ball at the contact point. For straight shots these are very similar but the thinner the cut, the more different they will be.
ОтветитьSo easy to see the shot with the head-cam! Can't wait to try the aiming routine.
ОтветитьThat chalk squeking is awful
Ответитьhack advice
ОтветитьI'm not going to tell you my aiming system. 😂😂 I also started using a variation of CTE.
ОтветитьFirstly, good system for beginners, I would not suggest it for intermediate though. Ghost ball visualization is so prominent because the point of contact is not the point you are aiming at. The point of contact is half a ball away from the point you are aiming at. if you draw a line from the center of the cue ball to the desired contact point it would be half a ball away on any cut angle, because the cueball is round and its edge to edge contact not a direct center contact to the point, unless it's straight on.
ОтветитьThank u
Ответитьso what happens when i need low right or left and high right or left. back hand english, right. center to edge is a bunch of half ball hits and the rest you're on your own. I'm so glad that people have found something that they feel works for them. bad perception is just bad perception, bad alignment is just that. I just wish most people understood the big picture is all i'm trying to say. I've done enough of sounding like a dick unintentionally so i'll just stop here. Appreciate you taking your time to explain this to people sir, kudos to all who offer up their time.
ОтветитьI always naturally aimed like this, but always used center tip always. I'm going to adjust and hopefully it pans out without too much of a hiccup. Thanks!
Ответитьthe larger the table & the smaller the pockets mean u MUST use shanes finer 5 point adjustments...3 is just too crude
ОтветитьYou have divided the tip of the pool cue into five points but you have only used three of these points. You have not explained when you use the intermediate points between the center and the outermost part.
ОтветитьThanks , its helpful
ОтветитьSAY "OKAY" ONE MORE TIME MF! *Samuel L. Jackson voice*
ОтветитьThis is a great technique but i noticed that coming into a 9ft table with regulation pocket, I got humbled real quick using this system, Not gonna lie, on 7ft APA table this is almost god sent.
Do you plan on doing a video on tighter pocket with this sytem?
Im not saying it won’t work, but I stand corrected when trying the 9ft, there must be something about these table that accepting these variations of shots.
5 one half pocket i play on 4 ins pocket
Ответитьgo ahead and tell us what you use ok ty
ОтветитьYou understand what your students need 👍
ОтветитьPlaying on British and Irish pool tables, which have smaller pockets, makes it easy to play on American bigger pocketed tables.
ОтветитьWonderful! Thank You!!!
ОтветитьThank you❤
Ответитьwhen teaching my wife lmaao
ОтветитьLoved this eith the go pro....but would like the go pro on for the pocket aiming...❤
ОтветитьGreat video man. Best ive seen on cte
ОтветитьGood video keep them coming
ОтветитьThanks for the video..I did it in our LOCAL 10 ball tournament🫰💪
ОтветитьVery nice....well explained
ОтветитьThis table is small
ОтветитьYOU STINK
ОтветитьBro, stop grinding a hole in the chalk and making it squeak like that...thats so "beginner shit" and also kills the viewers ears...feather the chalk across the tip and put it down. Grrrrr
ОтветитьYou don’t need an aiming system on those big bucket bar boxes. Just close your eyes, slam it, and as long as you’re not playing call pocket, the ball will land in a pocket …
ОтветитьI must be a stupid fck. Don’t understand this at all without visuals.
Ответитьget the aaimming partt but the compleete lack of a pause on the backswing is offputting, and another reason why snooker players are better potters on much tighter pockets and bigger tables. That cue action wouldnt work for long blues..but I gget its pool.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьVery informational video. However, I'd prefer you had demonstrated multiple shots at varying angles over running a rack. Your ability to control que ball, only required you to make shots a very limited degree of angles, none more than 20 degrees. Perhaps a follow up video will cover more extreme cut shots. I'll be looking for it. Good video still, thanks
ОтветитьDon’t learn from players who don’t play correctly themselves! Aiming a ball is the best way to miss it! It takes all your practice and throws it out the window!
Rote memory is in the back of your brain. The first time you do anything it starts out at the top of your brain! Where great players can miss easy shots they make all the time!
I liked the video until you shot the 8 ball incorrectly. Leaving the cue ball 2" from the rail for a spot shot is the last place on the table I would leave the cue ball. You could have avoided this situation by paying ENOUGH attention to the 7 ball ( second from last ball) and leaving yourself an angle on the 8 ball. Other than that situation, your video was terrific. :)
Ответитьinteresting ;)
Ответить2 miute intro... 😂
Ответитьwhen to use middle of center to edge
ОтветитьExcellent 👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьAre you saying you are aiming at the contact point as in the cloth in front of the ball (where the ghost ball would be) rather than the object ball point itself?
Ответить
