Thank you for your review. As a dedicated MX user, I currently own the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac. I appreciate its ergonomic design and minimal click noise. However, it has a subpar polling rate. Therefore, I'm considering giving the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro a try. Its higher polling rate could lead to an even better user experience.

The G502 Hero has this cable only in some regio version like the older EU version while some regio versions has a plastic cable like the newer German version. That's quite annoying because my roommate and his brother have the old EU version while I only got the newer German version.

Sad thing about Mx 3s is that it doesn't have toggle and repeat options around Logi Options +. G hub in the other hand does have this options.

G502 is awesome. MX Master 3S is great, too, and it has bluetooth

You can't believe, how thankful I am right now. I have the same issue as you had and I need a mouse that can be used via bluetooth and usb-receiver (bluetooth on my laptop and usb-receiver on my pc). Unfortunately the MX Master 3s has this really bad max polling rate of 125Hz which through me off quite a bit, because its no use for gaming so this recommendation comes in really handy.

Im looking for a good mouse for my cad and 3D design my current mouse of 2 month's old is degrading fast! All the surface texture has come off and shiny in spots whare your hand rests the logos gone with the contaminants from the IPA and resins residue you just cannot get rid of, even wearing gloves so would need something good that can be replaced offten hmm difficult one lol!.i can only imagine getting one these which i probably will and destroy!

Strip the wired mouse parts and replace the wheel in the wireless one make it abit heavier

Has Razr commented as to why they don't support Synapse 3 on the Mac platform? I believe Steel Series, Logitech and others support both platforms and are updating on a regular. I really want to get that "Razer Basilisk V3 Pro" but without the software support, it feels like a crippled device. Thanks for the video!

no more razer for me .. i already broken 3 of basilisk 2 by a little slap with the wrist motion against the table (basic gaming nervosity ,no hard hitting or so) .... really bad durability , only worst was the lenovo Y gaming mouse

Deathadders just fit my hand so good and offer the basics what I want. basilisk as well. I am a Razer person when it comes to mice, they just are most comfy for my hand.

Simplest and fool-proof way to customize the Razer mice on MacOS is to do all the customization of it on a Windows machine and then store those profiles on the mouse itself. Except very few features that are clearly indicated with "Synapse Only", each configuration and setup will work on MacOS as well. Once you configure it to your liking on the Windows machine, store the profile on the mouse and then just connect it to your Mac and voila - everything works perfectly.

can you PLEASE recommend a wireless gaming mouse FOR LEFT-HANDERS. theres really very little info that I can find all these mid to high-end gaming mice are for right-handers

Rival 500 remains king for power users & players. It's my favorite mass produced mouse of the last 20 years. Amazing for all game types, excellent for productivity, and some truly useful OOAK features like the cool down alerts and customizable 3d print name plate. Crazy to think it only cost $80 new and now you can't find them anywhere and for no less than $200 (if you can find one. ) Glad I bought 3 of them. As for these "new" mice...It's a sad "me too market" void of innovation. I still see the mx500 influence in these designs...yes a mouse from 20+ years ago for god sake. I still face palm over the pointless free scroll and now all the stupid gamer marketing terms for the scroll "feature" which has ZERO purpose on a game mouse. Oh cool, I can scroll through my weapons really fast for 2 minutes without touching the wheel again......Video editing is the only context where free scroll was truly useful for me, in which case a Logitech Triathlon / marathon mice will fit the bill. The only thing innovative I've seen from logitech in the past 20 years has been the "Logitech Options" app with gesture support...and funny enough I don't think it's event supported on their gaming mice. Demanding more out of your mouse means you're demanding more out of yourself... so until gamers actually start questioning things and challenging themselves this generic crap will continue to reign supreme.

Logitech and Razer suck d*ck. You're lucky if they last 1 year. Get a Redragon mouse & keyboard. They are completely programmable. They have internal memory. Your settings aren't on the software in your computer. Your settings are saved within the mouse & keyboard. So you don't need to reinstall software when you get a new computer. Also they cost 1/3 the price and tend to last 5 years. I've been using gaming mice since 2009 with the first Razer Naga. I will never go back to Logitech or Razer.

I got the razer naga v2 pro, it shuts itself off or stops moving randomly, anyone having this issue ?
also, synapse is actual garbage, does logitech have anything like the naga ? except the g600 which is wired

I wonder why no one really talks about a mouse with a lot of buttons like the Razer Naga, which has 12 programable buttons on the left, easy windows shortcut options in Synapse, and a great ergonomic feel.

But what if the cheapest one just happened to be the best? You need to buy those too! 😁😁😂

Funny cause I was in a dilemma over deciding on a higher end mouse a few days ago! This video basically solidifies one of two paths I may take. Before I had two cheap gaming mice, I do a mix of work on my machine: design, video editing/rendering, programming, and gaming so I like a powerful and versatile gaming mouse usually. I saw the awesome productivity MX Master 3S mouse at BestBuy and bit the bullet! I agree it is hands down a top knotch mouse for general office work and development. However, it lacks the style and flaire of a gaming mouse with no LEDs (fair because it's not a gaming mouse). Now I'm contempleting getting a second equivalent design and ergonomically comfortable gaming mouse to match it and not using my old cheap mice. I'll be building a highend desktop in some months and need some new gear to match the upgrade as well!

I'm so happy you gave the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro your official thumbs up as the current ultimate productivity + gaming mouse. I can either return my MX Master 3S and get the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro or I can have both, either work for me. The MX Master 3S is so nice I have no problem keeping it for future use as I want to transition to mice with nice comfy thumb grips from now on, no issue with switching between them based on usage but it looks like the Razer Basilisk will do everything I want in a great all-in-one solution if I decide to go that route too. The MX Master 3S has some really nifty features you often don't find in gaming mice that truly benefit office work and multi-tasking like switching tabs on the fly too.

i bought a logitech G 602 in 2016. and it still works great

I have the basilisk and the scroll wheel has a lot of errors where it scrolls the wrong direction. This appears to be a common problem even straight out of the box.

Logitech G600 is the best mouse for mmos period.

V3 pro clears

I picked up the Basilisk V3 wired, for a discount. Coming from a low-mid end old mouse.... damn. Felt really horrible the first few days, but after a week, I kind of like it. The scrollwheel is really nice for "rage" scrolling.

That's the main issue with MX3s for me - low polling rate.

502 mouse - is a perfect mouse for me playing such games as ETS2, (ats), omsi 😊
using that as a work mouse it's also fine but I prefer a wired g203 or wireless g305

For health reasons, I prefer to use only cable mice. I use cable internet on my laptop and no bluetooth devices. So, I would recommend Razer DeathAdder wired mouse as portable, and wired vertical mouses for desktop mode, such as Hama "EMC-500" vertical, ergonomic mouse, wired.
