Duhamel's call was crazy bad! He should have pushed all-in into Affleck... I doubt Affleck could call with AA, ah maybe if he put him on KK, but thats it.

If anyone still thinks that gambling is a game of skill. Think twice before trying to make it as a career. Only substantiated job is realistic as a career. Poker is entertainment as a hobby on the side only. I had worse bad beat than affleck with AA and flopped top set once and nut full house once on the final table, one time runner runner flush and opponent push me all in with absolute air and I had the nut top set on the flop, and with the boat runner runner one card straight flush. If he is crying then if he was me he might have suffer a brain trauma

When people like JRB whine and whine and whine about bad beats....I kinda want to see it happen more to them. It gets so old listening to the woe is me when they lose like that even though they've probably gotten lucky in similar situations many times in their lives (pocket pair over pair)

The grinder hand with AQ vs 99 is crazy bc he had 6 outs and ends up hitting 3 of them lol.

Every time I watch the Affleck hand, I still root for it to be a clean river for him.

Mizrachi over Jarvis is almost the exact same hands/board as Moneymaker over Ivey back in 2003.

Never realised how similar the Jarvis - Mizrachi hand is to the famous Ivy - Money maker one. Both have flopped trips with AQ both have a 9 on the turn for the player to boat up and both have an Ace on the river to crush 99s full. Only difference is one was preflop all in.

If that were Hellmuth with the aces at the end, the whole casino would have been burnt to the ground.

Essa foi definitivamente o call mais HORRIPILANTE da historia do poker.

Os 2 jogaram MUITO errado essa mão. Se o gordinho desse all in pré flop, quando o JJ deu re-raise, teria evitado tudo isso.

Mas o call de JJ com uma Q no turn, numa mesa final, estando de JJ, foi a coisa mais medonha que já vi em toda minha vida. Eu teria vergonha de vencer uma mão dessa jogando tão mal.

The Jarvis vs Mizrachi hand is eerily similar to the Chris Moneymaker vs Phil Ivey hand in the 2003 main event. Both times it was AQs vs 99, both times 2 queens came on the flop, both times a 9 came on the turn, and both times an Ace came on the river

Affleck indeed got a beat, but man when you get a 4 bet and you have AA, with such a deep stack and in the biggest tournament of the world, i would say that a big 5 bet is mandatory. Anyway heartbreacking situation…
