I tested the last option (The free option) and honestly. It was terrible. Sure, For only front-end stuff it works fine. Its really useful for that and thats what you're mostly focused on anyway. But it wont work with php files. Even if the code within the php file is html code. It seems to be possible to get it to work by using Grunt or Gulp but i tried for a long time and eventually i gave up.
But i found a MUCH better solution that also works with php files. I found an extension called LiveReload in Atom and it also requires that you have the chrome extension LiveReload. This worked perfectly for me so for anyone else out there who have problems with BrowserSync and php files here is another option for you guys. Live reload was also really easy to setup

An alternative is Live server add-on for Firefox and VSCode and they work great and easy to install Tried the free version with browser-sync but i got an powershell cleareance error and it din't work

On a Mac it‘s Crtl-C too! Not Cmd - C.

Gulp (or Grunt) with plugins is much professional way. And its free.

Love my command line. Killing the process on a Mac is CTRL-C, just like on Windows. CMD-C won't work.

Just download VSCode.

It seems you're also like me, doing things with less clicks and buttons. I use autohotkey. when you save in your current windows , autohotkey also send an F5 to the browser (most recent window used in chrome) and you can choose to do more stuff while at it :) . (like play "level achieved" sounds XD )

Hmm... what about using a non-existing target on the close button? No existing target, no scrolling. In chrome it worked for me.

i just use a much easyer script autoreload every 0.5 sec or so, isnt better?

Mine works with only the html file .it doesn't auto reload when i change stuff in the css file. it only affects the css file when i make is *.css instead of *html css/*.css. and when i do it like this *.css/*.html css too, it doesn't work. insummary, *.html css/*.css works with only the html file for me. Can you please help me

Has anyone tried to create a .bat file to automate this further. I tried and it looks like this

cd "c:\users\SC\Desktop\auto-refresh"
start browser-sync start --server --files *.html css/*css

But it only works when i type exit in to the cmd line. Does anyone have any ideas where i'm going wrong ?

Maybe Kev could do a whole vid on creating .bat files and the cmd for them, that might be another great vid ideas for you kev !
