Tell me your playing on equipment without spending your own money. Denon is better. And cheaper. Problem is, industry standard is pioneer. And people dont care enough to do their homeworknand practice. I have 3 sc6000 and 1 sc6000m. After initial update, no issues. Hows that quantize button working for you on that pioneer paperweight? Of you dont talk about the issues because you probably have no clue what it even does. Your video is absolute garbage.

Dude, CDs are tried and true backup mode, for mobile DJs it is a big risk showing up to a venue with everything on computer. What happens if you are handed a CD on a job and you look at it, and cant play it. Getting rid of CDs is still too soon. CDs accounted for almost $200 million in salses through mid 2022 CD sales went up in 2021 for the first time in 2 decades. For good reason. This omission is one way to reduce cost. A new version should be offered that includes the disc. Xbox and playstation offers 2 versions with disc and with out... same should follow here. True DJs handle Disc... DISC Jockeys?

to me is simple, if you are a professional dj you want the club to have 4 cdj3000 waiting for you, but if you have to get your own set up to work then get 2 sc60000 , period.

"Industry/club standard" is the best slogan Pioneer PR ever came up with.

Pioneer came out with a non CD player multi player called the xdj1000. And this 3000, just doesn’t make sense to me why it’s called a cdj when it doesn’t have CD player. So it should’ve been the xdj3000, or whatever number, but it’s not a cdj. 😂😂

Regardless of this biased presentation, Denon DJ SC6000M any day! Enough said!

You are obviously bias toward Pioneer and it really shows, resting your hands and hitting buttons by mistake? Come on, a dj is there to entertain, what dj rest thier hands, they are either pressing buttons, or hands in the air, how many times you say Pioneer is the industry standard is putting it too strongly, I have seen and used a Denon sc6000m and it puts the pioneer to shame, the Denon is a genuine Stand alone unit because it connects to the Internet and you can get any track, any time through this mdudtrm, I would say now in 2022 the Pioneer was the industry standard, but now even pioneer die hards are changing to Denon with thier upgrades, with its multi touch screen, its inbuilt hard drive bay, I would say untouchable at the moment, the Denon is superior, enough said.

So I've been a Pioneer man all my life cdjs XD xdjs Nexus had them all but I've now switched to Denon because I truly believe that pioneer is not keeping up with the future of where DJ is going so I am now at Denon man I know in a future Pioneer will probably have to adapt but if they don't this may be the time in our lifetimes that we see Denon start to become the industry standard one day

The cue buttons of Denon reminds of a midi controller , while pioneer placed the cue buttons under the screen keeping the look more classic. Pioneer is very smart for not changing the design too much. Easy for DJ's to adapt from one generation to another. If Denon wants a part of the market they need to come up with something revolutionary.

I came from turntables for my private events and cdjs2000nxs for when in clubs but after trying a pair of Denon players. sc5000s to be specific, instantly felt the difference that I ended up buying the sc6000s man so much you can do with those, I still use pioneer cdjs because that's what the clubs I play in have but 100% prefer Denondjs...Well done Denon you'll get my money from now on 😁

The cdj 3000 were a big disappointment for me. Pioneer needs to step it up.

I don't believe that I waste my time watching someone comparing something totally biased. Horses were standard industry before cars. 😂 But probably you'd say that the wagon movement seems more natural and confortable. The price/performance ratio says it all, and beats the CDJ 3000 player, which is totally overpriced for me, by a long way! That's enough!

Spinning doesn’t show quality.. also 3000 aren’t standard yet 2000s are still standard and standing much stronger in clubs. Plus the pioneer chip plant burned and 3000s are much harder to get at the moment

80% of the djs use 4 things in the players..:

1.- Cue/Play button
2.- Loop
3.- Jog
4.- Pitch

Let's analyze:

1.- Cue/Play button: Pioneer wins, very soft and precise (Denon very hard buttons).
2.- Loop: Denon's rotary knob is very easy to use, but with pioneer you can do much more things, Pioneer wins.
3.- Jog: Pioneeeeeeeerrrrrrrr wins, the Pioneer Jog has no comparison.
4.- Pitch: ehmmmmmm both win.


Wifi... for what? if you play in an event in the field or with bad signal the wifi is useless.

Technics is still the industry standard turntable despite many others releasing “better” turntables with more features, stronger motors, better build quality etc. NOBODY CARES. The industry at large doesn’t care. The biggest deciding factor in this industry is brand recognition. Denon could come out with a player that does 6 layers, 1TB internal drive, free WiFi, bigger jogs, bigger screens, more features, anything you think they could throw at it and it won’t make a difference. The industry at large, the fans of the biggest artists, the promoters, club owners, and touring artists have come to rely on pioneer for over a decade. Thinking that just a few more features is going to buck that trend is lunacy. Guess who doesn’t care about those features? Anyone not using the decks. The club who bought them? Never going to touch them. The promoter selling the tickets? Doesn’t care. The crowd? Will never know the difference. All the whining and crying about your piece of gear not getting the same level of respect that any pioneer gear gets is pissing in the wind alone.

The price on these are as much a car. Pioneer is so snobby that they know they can get away with it.

I've owned both the CDJ3000's and the Denon SC6000's and I sold the pioneer players, both are good players, but personally I preferred the Denon, nicer screen, steaming directly on the players, and such a loverly smooth pitch fader very nice to mix on, both players are very well made, but the pioneers are not worth the money, when denon make a player just as good for less! and they're no different to in use to cdj's, anyone who's ever used a cdi will be at home in seconds, super fulid and easy to use recommend!

If you already play gigs/ shows all over the world, then the Pioneer gear is a good choice.

If you are just starting out, or primary play gigs/shows on your own gear-- then buy the Denon. Buy the time you have enough to cash to afford the Pioneer setup you will be an amazing DJ and won't even want the Pioneer stuff. Trust me. I've been in the game for 30 years. The Denon gear will set you up for the future.
