God said I need an animal who would stand at your side when the world around you collapses. Somebody to lie next to you during the long nights of pain and sorrow when it hurts to move, to talk, or think, or be.

An animal to stand guard, play games, snore for hours and repeat as needed. An animal to give you strength when you have none of your own. An animal to fight when you have no fight left, to hold onto your soul as if it were their favorite toy, playing tug of war to keep you in this world. An animal to be your companion and guide in this world and the next. An animal to wait for you on the other side or stand guard in your absence until they can join you for eternity.

I haven't seen my dog for like 3 weeks and ik its not that long but i can't go more then 2 nights without her and i go back home tonight and land at 1:00 am won't see her till like 3:00am and ive been watching these hours on end just waiting to see her again and my brother told me she's been trying to get in my room and actually slept like a baby for the first time in 3 weeks while she was in my room and she's been crying non stop so have i and im freaking out just so existed to see her again im more existed then i was the night before even going on this trip (i wasn't happy about leaving her so i wasn't that existed) but still!!

I wish I had a video on my childhood dog (Kelly the most beautiful Irish Setter EVER) and my cousin Matt.
My parents got Kelly when I was three (57 this year)... and Matt (mid 20's) kept Kelly at his home till Christmas morning.
Kelly LOVED Matt... and Matt LOVED Kelly.
I'll never forget the moment... Kelly was 15 by then and diabetic... blind... and handicapped with arthritis.... laying on the floor in the kitchen.
Matt walked in the front door... which she heard... and she STILL got up and started walking toward the door... ready to bark... ever the protector.
Then... Matt greeted her... and you could see the exact moment she smelled him... the tail started going and she started crying.
He sat on the floor with her for a LONG time... crying his eyes out.... I'll NEVER forget that day.
Kelly died not long after in 1988... and Matt too in 2017.... but I still remember their moment... and I still cry.

The voiceover is hideous and distracting.

Longest I’ve been away is a week for vacation and she went insane, but my dog goes crazy when I come home from work.
