i tried all three and i wasn't able to import my wallet using my seed phrase
literally cant find any lighting wallet that i can use to spend BTC in my wallet
im gonna go crazy
Something about Strike... There appear to be only two ways to add $$ --> Either using a bank account or a debit card. If you use a bank account, you can deposit and withdraw $$. If you use a debit card, you can only deposit $$. But, if you use a bank account, they want your private username and password! I'm not giving them that! So, with a debit card, transactions are more expensive, and I'd have to find another way if I want to convert back to $$ and send to my bank.
ОтветитьGood intro on how to purchase Bitcoin in a cost effective manner. Would like to see a starters guide on how to setup a lightning channel.
Ответитьlol if we need to use fiat thaen why we are here we only have btc we are looking to send it with low fees
ОтветитьThat very cheap didn't grow old very well 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI’m new to this. I have my Trezor cold wallet but would like to start using a lightning wallet. Why not just send bitcoin directly from Strike to the Satoshi lightning wallet? Is the intermediate wallet necessary?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьWhy use the Strike app vs Cashapp
ОтветитьHi Matt, What Lightning wallet app are you currently using?
ОтветитьYou keep saying bitcoin but you mean to say satoshi's because that's all you're sending In this video. You did not send an whole Bitcoin. A lot of people get confused with bitcoin and satoshi's.
ОтветитьWhen receiving BTC, I was always under the impression that the Sender stipulates the amount being sent, but your tutorial states that it's the Receiver who stipulates the amount being received, which kinda makes no sense to me.
ОтветитьAnd I still don’t know if when I send money to my step daughter in the Dominican Republic, if she’s going to be able to cash out to her bank with one of these apps or even how she can do it from her wallet of satoshi.
ОтветитьYeah but the question is, how do I send this to someone in the Dominican Republic where they can transfer it to a bank account locally and turn it into fiat? That’s the question
ОтветитьGather up in nostr
ОтветитьSimply explained as always Matt. If I need to know anything I check your vids first and you usually don't disappoint!!! Cheers
ОтветитьHey, Matt, can you send me one Bitcoin so I can test my wallet? Thanks! 😆
ОтветитьYour videos are great. Even from one year ago. Thanks.
ОтветитьGreat video and thanks for sharing! Would you be willing to make a video on how to setup your own lightning node? Would you use Umbrel, Citadel or some other software? How to setup channels and the process you use yourself? Thanks again!
ОтветитьVery well done, thank you. I am assuming that one could send bitcoin to a cold wallet via the Lightning Network?
ОтветитьSo how do you send lightning payments back to on-chain Bitcoin?
ОтветитьWhat's the spread on strike?
ОтветитьLightning network allows you to build dApps on it ala ethereum? 🤨
ОтветитьIs there any good alternative to strike for international users? Thanks
ОтветитьVideo full of lies
Lightning Network does not work, is not safe. It´s possible for 1 of the 2 parties from a payment channel to close the channel and pocket funds while the other is away/fraudulent Channel Close. There is a time period to contest the closing of a channel, a prolonged absence of the parties could result in expiry of that period
Wait why did I think you could only send a payment if someone sends you an invoice or if you make an LNURL? You can just instantly send lightning to someone using an address to their lightning wallet? Why did I see so much info about how this isn't possible? why am I so confused right now?
ОтветитьComment for the algorithm
ОтветитьThank you, Matthew. I'm still confused. Do you have to set up a lightning node and open channels before you can use these apps?
ОтветитьMake a 2022 video plz.
ОтветитьI don’t understand why you shouldn’t just skip muun and put it all in lightning wallet? Or just leave it all in Strike?
ОтветитьI find your videos so helpful. Thanks!
ОтветитьLighting network is not private. And the fact that you think lighting network compares to monero shows that you don't know what you're talking about and you are misleading people.
Ответитьthat is way too complicated for mass adoption....
Ответитьthe lightning network isn´t nearly as private as Monero
ОтветитьI need Lighting Bitcoin , how can I get it???
Strike are not support in my country
Thanks . Is strike only avaliable in the usa at this time. Im in uk and eu .
👏✌️
how do I use it with cold storage?
ОтветитьWill each transaction settle in the bitcoin blockchain? But it will take longer to "appear" on the bitcoin blackchain, right? Am I undrestanding this correctly?
ОтветитьGoodbye Ethereum !!.. LOL
Ответитьthank you this is helpful,
How to confirm sending a payment on the Lightning network publicly, if I paid someone how they can be sure ?
how the receiver was able to see the new values, are we assuming in this videos they are in the same channel
Thanks for this demo. What about taxes if any for buying btc with usd and using sats for payments?
ОтветитьHow can we reduce our lightningbtc to btc on layer 1 ?
Ответитьvery well explained mate. still learning a lot about Lightning Network. This is the tool for scalability.
ОтветитьVery helpful video. Can you do a video on the difference between a bitcoin address and a Strike invoice?
ОтветитьThanka bunch!
ОтветитьMany thanks for your efforts and supports and useful training
ОтветитьThis is interesting but Bitcoin will never be adopted as currency until it’s easier to use than fiat. You can’t ask everyone to get different apps, send money to virtual wallets. It’s more complicated than fiat and until that changes it won’t be adopted
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьYou got the bitcoin in strike. When you sent the first transaction, you didn't send on lightning. That's why the transaction took forever. I am not sure why someone would do that. I suppose there are some recipients that don't have access to lightning addresses.
