In my experience, if a company has not gotten back to you within 3-5 days following an interview, you’re not their candidate.

if the interviewer did not give you their e-mail after the end of the interview, do you still do a thank you note?

What about leaving a thank you for a board? Third round of interview is for a board with three senior engineers.

Is the answer "because you've reached out to me on LinkedIn" appropriate to the question "why should we hire you?" :)

My answer was I will voice my opinion but I will respect my boss/company. If it is something illegal, I will resign.

Hi Bill, I had this question, how do I know that I am stressed and what I am doing. My answer was that it might be better not to let it get that far and react inappropriately. If I start to feeling stressed out, it would be good to take a break and get back to your task a few minutes later. I think this answert is very neutral and convincing. What di you think? I find all your videos to be extremely helpful. I watch most of them and save quite a few to revert back to at a later date. I am just starting a job search, and I'd be interested in any advice you have for a 60-year-old female in a job Mark that values youth over maturity and experience. The last time I was job hunting (age 52), I felt that I was being overlooked in favor of younger candidates, even when I was clearly an excellent fit for the position. I am nowhere near planning my retirement and on a serious quest to find a job.

Your "tell me about yourself" and "what is your salary expectations" advice, on top of your other Q&A tips, helped me feel very prepared going into interviews. 30+ unique interviews later (not including the 2nd and 3rd round interviews), I signed an offer letter from my top choice while receiving 3 offers within the same week! (I was also interviewing like a mad lad, so that contributed to receiving the 3 offers).

Why do interviews have to be such a game full of questions with hidden meanings?

I had a job interview last year and it went really well.
But not knowing the importance of sending a thank you note, I did not send the chair one.
Thankfully I got the job in the end, and I will be sure to do so moving forward.
