Another poor game design. I've done at least 250 red maps, and haven't seen this encounter yet.

got him down to 25% in 2 sec, then freeze to get 6 slams and invul to be killed

Kinda BS that the league mechanic is lock behind RNG that you can't do anything about. You die and you lose everything, but because there is no way to deterministically spawn the boss you can't really practice.

I got unnatural instinct from killing his wave. They should make the trial master fight rewards more consistant

I had my trialmaster fight yesterday as well. Have to say it is very intense if you have 1 ex and a winged scarab on the line.

What's the lore for Trialmaster and Chaos? Are they cosmic beings from other dimension like Maven and Elder?

seems like ggg are now saving all their good league ideas for poe2 and have accepted that the league mechanics will just be a bit shit, so they've made it very rewarding.

Man... Hearing your longing for a big brain league I was reminded just how very much I miss Synthesis. Easily my favorite league of all time.

This league has been pretty fun so far, I like the emphasis on positioning in order to do well

First impressions on the Trialmaster fight are really good, tough fight, interesting mechanics and combines well with the zoning that the Ultimatum mechanics add. I'd love if the entire league was a bit more like this - not necessarily boss fights but fewer, tougher enemies more focused on positioning.
