hello Mr jeremey thank you for your amazing lab tutorial. i would like to ask you......suppose that R1 is connected to some other routers, how can we know to which interface R2 is connected to R1. and use that adresss as '" ip helper-adresss" on R2

For best practice, should you placed the excluded address command first before you set up your network address? Overall, I enjoy all of your videos!

How the DHCP server (router(R1)) is serving correct ip address to the clients .
For router 2 gig 0/0 . How the router1 knows it have serve the correct ip address.
Same as router2 gig0/1.

Beatufiul! One lab - summarises the entire course on DHCP. I messed it up a few times before I got it right I must say. This was good practice I must admit. I noticed that if you don't configure your excluded addresses before setting up the pools, the PC could get IPs from the excluded range even if you later during the set up process specify the excluded range - it happened with me. So while you're thinking you got a valid IP address address, it might lead to conflict in the DHCP server in the long run. Of course a simple ipconfig /release | ipconfig /renew will resolve the problem but if you didn't configure the DHCP, this could cause some unnecessary complication when you're having to troubleshoot. What I've learn from this is the set up exclusions before the pools. Thanks Jeremy, as usual, you are appreciated.
