Suggestion-If you want a hotel that has Central Pattaya location, nice large rooms, very reasonable prices, and quiet so one can sleep at night, go to Soi 8. Coming from Beach Road, walk to the Sailor Bar, turn left and proceed about one half block. It's at the end on the left. Used to be called Tweet Tweet Nest, now called The Weekender. No pool or restaurant, and only low bass from one of the clubs that never disturbed me. In the middle of everything. Check it out!

Everytime i stay in central Pattaya.....i know Jomtien,,,but central is different

That road needs to be closed for cars permanently , then it would be a good place , but now , its like living on a highway , fumes and toxic gas and loud noices constantly.... never understood why they havent dont it yet. (talking about the pattaya beach road)

Regarding beaches. Just hop on bahtbus and catch ferry on Bali Hai Pier at the end of the Walking street, go to Koh Larn and enjoy real beaches. So it is not that important where your hotel or condo is. If you are into mongering and I don't see why else would anyone come to Pattaya in the first place , then just find part of town where your favorite bars or clubs are easy to reach from. Simple as that.
