Loved the video! You should do a video on how to clean and maintain the actual vinyl disc.

I hate record bags - everything about them. It does take many, many ins and outs of shelves to create ring wear.

You shouldn't store your albums in the original inner sleeves the album came packaged with. Buy plastic/poly-lined sleeves to store them in and if you're going to store them outside of the covers, there's a store on Ebay that sells resealable inners.

I'm curious about something. How  with much damage can pulling and putting the LP back in the jacket really do with proper care? I keep my LP's in a resealable cover, and even have it so the opening of the jacket lines up with the cover so I don't have to actually remove the whole thing. I also keep the LP in a thick Polly sleeve. Will it really do that much damage with proper care?

This is something collectors ponder on constantly. Having records in alphabetical order you can pretty easily find a record doing it the reversed way compard to you. At the same time you don`t have to extract the album from the plastic sleeve every time you play it. One advantage with your way is one you do not mention. The plastic isn`t sqeezed between other records making the plastic semi slide off the record while returning it to its Place in the Collection. Maybe I will switch to Your way because of this annoying problem. Then again the sleeves are often exposed to fingerprints and taking them in and out of the plastic over and over will eventually harm the corners if one is not very careful every time.

I like your videos, but could you please lower the volume of the background music considerably. Now it's very distracting as I'm trying to listen to you talk.

I've got a bookshelf at my house which I was thinking of storing my records on, but the albums overhang by about 3 inches. Would this cause any problems over time? Help? Somebody? Please?

Never thought about putting the sleeve spines inward, I always put them upward. I might change this at least for the ones with thinner spines. Great tips!
