I like how the doctor did not seek to embarrass her; rather, he gave, suggestively and gently, the very answers to the questions he was asking her, without giving room for her possible lack of good/correct answers to surface. That way, the student LEARNED what she needed to learn without first being "exposed" for what she didn't know

Blind confidence, low skill and knowledge, the type that most educators dislike. You need to listen first, digest then talk.

he had a comforting presence. many of my professors have an egotistical attitude in responding to my questions and answers, but this instructor was very patient, understanding, nonjudgmental... and also picked up in areas where the student was struggling to answer....sigh. I'm a nurse practitioner student and I wish medical doctors, not doctorate nurses, taught most of the core classes, including but not limited to studies of pathophysiology, pharmacology, differential diagnoses, and primary care....sigh...

Our marathi government medical colleges are full of professors who don't know and like to teach. They like to abuse students. They will interact with students only during exams for asking questions. Ye mera India 🇮🇳...I love my India 🇮🇳

Presentation was great. But the content of the presentation was not that great. She didn't even ask questions to rule out some of her differential diagnosis .Before taking a history of the patient she should have a bunch of differential diagnosis relating to the presenting symptom before asking questions. She did ask some of the questions but not that much to rule out some of her differentials.
The other thing is that she did not even order investigations to rule out her differential diagnosis. CBC Complete Blood count only tells you about infections (WBC) and Anemia.
I heard that 1 of her differential diagnosis is gout and she did not even order Uric acid test.

Lastly, I think this presentation was great but it's not enough for a resident Level.
