Every time I go to Ethiopia I get sick. I think it is the change of the weather. However, I feel better when I go to Gondar or Sodere. Some of the questions are immature. "Why you are doing this while you are that?" people travel to enjoy that particular country and culture with complex family relations. What do they expect? Enjoying Sudan while you are in Ethiopia? Sudanese and Ethiopian in many ways are similar.

Yes I can't speak Amharic. Many Ethiopians cannot speak Amharic. Over 80% of Ethiopians are rural people. People in the rural country side of Oromiyyaa, Tigray, Beneshangul, Afar, Somali, Southern Nations etc will only know their own language. Only city people speak Amharic. Unfortunately people will take it personally when you visit the capital city.
Still I could get around in the city and in taxis. People are kind and will help you directions if you get lost.
I also love being in Ethiopia, the air, the food, the people and culture❤
